Digital Marketing Intern

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Digital Marketing Intern is an integral part of Jackson’s marketing team, supporting the execution of our digital strategy across multiple platforms. This role will help strengthen brand awareness, deepen consumer engagement, and drive trial and consumption by creating compelling digital content and assisting with data-driven marketing initiatives. Working closely with the marketing team, the intern will gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, influencer partnerships, digital analytics, and campaign execution. This role will be working average of 30 hrs a week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recipes Development: Execute the production of 30 high-quality recipes featuring Jackson’s products as an ingredient or pairing, including photography, videography, and accompanying copy. Publish completed recipes to the company blog, ensuring SEO-optimized formatting and alignment with brand voice.

• BehindtheScenes Social Content: Develop and execute a weekly social content plan consisting of two engaging Reels/TikTok's that highlight HQ staff, company culture, and behind-the-scenes moments at our facility. Collaborate with our agency partner to ensure timely posting and platform optimization. Encourage and motivate team members to participate in on-camera content by creating a fun, positive, and engaging experience during filming.

• Tradeshow Management Support: Gain exposure to the end-to-end process of trade show preparation, including behind-the-scenes planning and logistics. Assist with entering sample orders, coordinating shipment of booth materials, and ensuring all required marketing assets are packed, labeled, and delivered on time. Support the marketing team in organizing materials and maintaining checklists to ensure seamless trade show execution.

• Trend Spotting: Monitor and report weekly on emerging social media, video, and cultural trends relevant to TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms. Use trend insights to propose and develop fresh, innovative content ideas that support Jackson’s brand identity and audience engagement goals.

• LinkedIn Management: Manage and maintain Jackson’s LinkedIn page, ensuring consistent posting and professional brand representation. Draft and publish content that highlights media coverage, trade show participation, company updates, and relevant industry moments.

• QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field from a four-year college or university.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn) and interest in digital marketing best practices.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively to internal teams.

  • Ability to speak confidently and professionally in front of groups, including team members, partners, and vendors.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Creative mindset with a willingness to contribute fresh ideas and take initiative.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain a positive, proactive attitude.
