Social Media Coordinator (Consultant)
About the Company: Propedix is a biopharma and consumer health company dedicated to advancing innovative treatments in healthcare. Our flagship product, featuring our breakthrough anti-fungal and drying agent technology, launched in Q3 2025, and we have a pipeline of advanced OTC and Rx treatments in dermatology and health. The Company has a pipeline of new skin infection treatment productions planned for launch throughout 2026. All based on the company DryStiK SM Tech Platform. Position: Social Media Coordinator (Consultant)
Position Overview: The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for managing day-to-day social media activities, creating and scheduling content, engaging with followers, and supporting overall brand growth. The scope of this role also includes influencer and ambassador program support, working closely with internal and external partners to drive awareness, engagement, and traffic. This is a part time, remote, 1099 contractor role ideal for someone who enjoys working with startups and consumer health products. The ideal candidate resides in So. California or Boston Corridor.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Scheduling
- Create, coordinate content creation from media developers, and schedule engaging social media posts (graphics, short videos, captions, stories)
- Repurpose content for different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
- Develop and execute social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn), aligned with brand goals and campaign priorities
- Create and manage content calendars, including planning, copywriting, visual production coordination, scheduling, and publishing
- Develop detailed social media workflow tracking and management. Measure cause and effect and conversion of social media efforts.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice aligned with Dryello and ProPedix
Community Engagement
- Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages in a timely, professional manner Engage with relevant accounts, communities, and hashtags
- Help build trust and credibility with customers through thoughtful interaction.
- Moderate user-generated content and cultivate an authentic, engaged brand community
- Assess response, likes, followers, and engagement with users in a manner that builds the Dryello brand and create sales conversion.
Brand, Influencer & Product Support
- Assist in promoting product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
- Highlight product benefits in a compliant, consumer-friendly way (OTC awareness)
- Collaborate with internal team on messaging and campaigns
- Launch and support influencer and ambassador programs, including talent sourcing, outreach, coordination, product seeding, and performance tracking
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce on-brand photo, video, and graphic content
- Help source and identify influencer. Ensure influencer posts, message, content are rolled out in timely basis.
Analytics, Optimization & Reporting
- Track basic performance metrics (engagement, follower growth, reach)
- Provide simple weekly or monthly summaries and insights
- Suggest improvements based on performance trends
- Analyze social and influencer performance using native platform analytics and third-party tools, sharing insights and optimization recommendations.
- Be able to measure, monitor, track and guide social media content to sales and conversion.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Growth Support
- Partner with paid media and e-commerce team to ensure social content supports broader growth objectives, funnel conversion, and performance marketing initiatives
- Stay current on platform updates, social trends, and emerging creators to inform strategy and maintain brand relevance
- Organize, schedule, and manage a cross functional social media and influencer weekly coordination meetings.
Location: Virtual strong preference for candidates who reside in Southern California or Boston location. Work can be performed remotely with attendance required for quarterly meetings in person.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Communication or related field is strongly preferred.
Experience:
Required:
- 4+ years experience managing social media and influencers for a brand or business
- 3+ years of creating or coordination creation of new social media content Strong written communication skills
- Strong familiarity and implementation experience of consumer brands with Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- 2+ years working with Influencers to help guide and support content creation, implement such programs as part of brand plan, and then measure and provide adjust feedback to influencer campaigns.
- Basic graphic/video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Comfortable working with a small, fast moving startup
Preferred:
- Strong preference for candidates with experience with consumer products, health, wellness, or e-commerce brands
- Understanding of Amazon or DTC brands
- Familiarity with short-form video trends
- Basic knowledge of FTC/compliance considerations for health products (a plus, not required)
Hours: Approx 20 hours a week. Potential for expansion of hours based on desire and performance. Candidates must be available for zoom meetings and email correspondence on average 2-3 hours a week during normal business hours. Attendance at a weekly Commercial or Social Media Coordination team meeting during business hours is required.
Compensation: $25 - 30 per hour, depending on experience. With long term demonstrated success, potential for stock option Grant and further rate increases. This is an independent contractor 1099 position.
Support and Supervisor: The position reports to the VP US Commercialization who will be their administrative supervisor and will also work closely with the Marketing team and 3rd party vendors.
