About the Role

We’re looking for a highly creative and execution-focused Social Media & Email Marketing Manager to own and scale our digital presence across all major platforms. This role blends content creation, performance thinking, and brand storytelling, with a strong emphasis on luxury positioning.

This is a hybrid role with both digital and in-person responsibilities. You’ll occasionally support in-store events, content capture, and brand activations during weekdays or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Own and manage all social platforms: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook (Meta), Pinterest, YouTube, and RedNote (Xiaohongshu)
  • Plan and execute a consistent social content calendar aligned with campaigns, launches, and retail moments
  • Create, brief, and/or produce high-quality, video-first content
  • Stay ahead of trends and adapt content quickly, especially on TikTok and RedNote
  • Manage posting, comments, DMs, and community engagement
  • Collaborate with influencers and creators to drive awareness and content volume

Email Marketing (Klaviyo)

  • Own email execution through Klaviyo
  • Write compelling, on-brand email campaigns and flows
  • Build and optimize flows: welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, etc.
  • Personalize messaging to improve conversion
  • Continuously test and optimize subject lines, creatives, and messaging

Events & In-Store Support

  • Support store events, activations, and content capture at the flagship location
  • Assist with planning and executing brand events (setup, coverage, coordination)
  • Capture real-time content during events for social distribution
  • Occasionally available during evenings or weekends for key activations

Growth & Performance

  • Identify high-performing content
  • Support product launches and retail-driven campaigns

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in social media and email marketing (DTC or luxury preferred)
  • Strong copywriting skills with a clear, elevated brand voice
  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or other email platform
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms
  • Experience managing or growing a presence on RedNote (Xiaohongshu)
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
  • Strong aesthetic sense aligned with luxury branding
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup environment

  • Familiarity with Shopify and eCommerce analytics
