We’re looking for a hybrid creative who can both capture the story (videographer) and strategically distribute it (social media manager).

We’re not your typical clinic. Akemē Sports Rx is a boutique sports physical therapy and performance facility built for athletes who demand more. Our environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and driven by excellence both in performance and creativity.

The Role

This is a dual-impact position combining content production (videography + editing) with social media strategy and management.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Capturing high-quality content in real time
  • Turning that content into high-performing social assets
  • Managing and optimizing our presence across platforms

If you understand how to film with intention, edit for retention, and post for growth, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do Videography & Content Creation

  • Film short-form and long-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube, ads)
  • Capture athlete sessions, treatments, behind-the-scenes, and brand storytelling
  • Handle lighting, framing, audio, and composition for professional-quality output
  • Shoot both mobile-first and professional camera setups
  • Facebook Meta ADS experience - BONUS

Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit high-performing videos optimized for each platform
  • Craft strong hooks, pacing, and storytelling to maximize retention
  • Add subtitles, motion graphics, sound effects, and branded elements
  • Produce both quick-turn content and polished campaigns

Social Media Management

  • Plan and execute content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Meta
  • Schedule, post, and manage daily content distribution
  • Write engaging, platform-native captions and copy
  • Engage with the audience (comments, DMs, community building)

Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and support social media strategies and campaigns
  • Analyze performance (engagement, retention, reach) and optimize content
  • Stay ahead of trends in sports, culture, and social media formats
  • Run A/B testing on paid and organic content
  • Implement SEO and platform optimization best practices

Collaboration & Creative Direction

  • Work with athletes, coaches, physical therapists and creators to produce compelling content
  • Source and manage UGC creators and influencers
  • Design supporting assets (carousels, stories, templates) using Canva/Figma

What We’re Looking For

We want a creator-operator someone who can both execute and think strategically.

Core Skills

  • Strong videography skills (shooting + directing content)
  • Advanced video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube performance
  • Experience managing social media accounts and content calendars
  • Strong visual storytelling instincts (lighting, composition, pacing)

Creative Mindset

  • You think in hooks, trends, and storytelling angles
  • You understand what makes people stop scrolling
  • You’re proactive, organized, and thrive in fast-paced environments

Tools & Experience

  • Canva & Figma for social-first design
  • Photography for lifestyle and brand content
  • Sports Videography
  • Copywriting for captions and campaigns
  • Experience with influencers

QualificationsRequired

  • 3–5 years in content creation, social media, or digital marketing
  • Proven experience with short-form video content
  • Strong portfolio (video + social content)

Preferred

  • Background in sports, fitness, or performance brands
  • Experience with paid social content
  • Understanding of ecommerce and conversion-driven content
  • Familiarity with AI content tools
