Outre is an industry-leading textured-hair and protective-styling brand, known for bringing trend-forward products, rooted in real consumer insight, to beauty supply stores nationwide and online. We are looking for a curious, collaborative, and driven Consumer Marketing Associate to join our Consumer Marketing team.

This role sits at the intersection of consumer insights, social media, content execution, and performance analytics. You will primarily support and help oversee our online presence, contributing to research, content development, campaign planning, editing, and day-to-day execution. You will play a key role in helping organize, guide, and elevate this area alongside the team.

You will work closely with cross-functional partners and internal team members to ensure our content reflects what our customers truly want and connects authentically with culture. From identifying trends and analyzing measurable performance to developing content ideas and supporting launches, you’ll help bring our brand and product stories to life across platforms.

What You’ll Do

Social Media & Content Execution

  • Support and help oversee day-to-day social media management across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Assist in developing monthly content calendars aligned with product launches, campaigns, and cultural moments
  • Create, edit, and refine short-form content (Reels, TikToks, carousels, captions, scripts) that aligns with brand voice and storytelling
  • Coordinate with internal teams, creators, and freelancers to ensure timely, high-quality content delivery
  • Write and publish blog posts aligned with product launches, campaigns, and educational initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify blog topics rooted in consumer questions and search behavior

Content Development & Campaign Support

  • Contribute to campaign ideation and support go-to-market execution across social and digital channels
  • Assist with influencer and creator content coordination
  • Write clear, compelling copy for captions, scripts, digital ads, and marketing assets that align with brand guidelines and current messaging
  • Support planning and execution of photo and video shoots, including on-set assistance and behind-the-scenes capture
  • Assist at trade shows, pop-ups, and brand activations with planning, set-up and content capture.
  • Help ensure experiential marketing moments are translated into engaging digital content

Production & Experiential Marketing

  • Support planning and on-set execution of photo and video shoots, including behind-the-scenes content capture
  • Assist with trade shows, pop-ups, and brand activations, ensuring strong social coverage and real-time content capture
  • Help translate in-person brand experiences into engaging digital storytelling

Performance & Analytics

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (engagement, reach, growth, conversions, CTR, etc.)
  • Monitor paid and organic social performance to assess campaign ROI
  • Develop campaign recaps and post-mortem reports with clear, actionable insights
  • Use data to optimize content strategy, posting cadence, and creative direction

Consumer Insights & Trend Monitoring

  • Conduct social listening and competitive audits to identify trends and whitespace opportunities
  • Translate insights into clear summaries that inform content and campaign decisions
  • Stay closely connected to beauty culture and textured-hair trends

Project & Team Coordination

  • Maintain content calendars, timelines, and campaign trackers
  • Help ensure projects move efficiently from ideation to execution
  • Support cross-functional collaboration between marketing, R&D, sales, and creative teams
  • Keep digital assets and marketing files organized and up to date

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience in brand marketing, strategy, or consumer insights—ideally in beauty, CPG, or lifestyle
  • Familiarity with research tools and methods (e.g. Qualtrics, surveys, social listening, interviews)
  • A strong sense of storytelling and visual culture; you know how to spot a trend and make it relevant
  • Excellent writing and communication skills—bonus points for copywriting or creative writing experience
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Comfort with data, campaign metrics, and turning numbers into insights
  • Enthusiasm for beauty and cultural storytelling; knowledge of the textured-hair space is a plus
