This is a great opportunity for an experienced Affiliate Account Manager who thrives on building relationships and driving results. If you have experience managing affiliate programs in the B2B or B2C space and a track record of identifying the right partners for the right opportunities, we would love to talk.
So what does the day-to-day actually look like? You will be out there recruiting and managing affiliate partners, negotiating placements, keeping a close eye on program performance, and hunting down new partnership opportunities that move the revenue needle. You will work directly with clients and publishers to sharpen campaign performance and keep growing the partner ecosystem around each program you own. What Are Your Major Objectives?
In a key client-facing position within our Performance Marketing Team, the Affiliate Account Manager will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition and profitable sales growth through team leadership, strategic thinking, and process execution for their performance marketing programs. This will include driving the team to deliver on AIM and industry best practices around affiliate recruitment, activation, optimization, compliance, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, activate, and manage affiliate partners across a range of partner types, including content publishers, influencers, media partners, loyalty sites, and emerging partnership categories.
- Build real relationships with affiliate partners, negotiating placements, campaigns, and promotional opportunities that drive meaningful growth for the programs you manage.
- Keep a close eye on program performance, digging into the metrics that matter, spotting opportunities to optimize, and bringing forward strategies that improve revenue, partner activation, and overall program health.
- Work directly with clients to understand what they are trying to accomplish, share clear performance insights, and ensure affiliate strategies align with their broader marketing goals.
- Always be on the lookout for new partnership opportunities that expand reach, strengthen the ecosystem, and bring in incremental revenue.
- Handle the day-to-day blocking and tackling of affiliate program management, including partner communications, campaign launches, partner approvals, and coordination across affiliate network platforms.
- Collaborate with the broader AIM team to develop new ideas, test creative partnership approaches, and bring forward opportunities that keep client programs moving forward.
What Key Skills and Experience are Needed?
- 2+ years of hands-on affiliate marketing management experience required
- Experience managing programs within at least one major affiliate platform (Awin, CJ, impact.com, Partnerize, or Rakuten) required
- Strong partner recruitment and relationship management skills, with the ability to identify and activate new affiliates that drive program growth
- Experience working with multiple affiliate networks and third-party tracking platforms is a plus
- Comfort working in a fully remote environment, managing priorities independently while staying highly responsive with clients and team members
- Willingness to travel periodically to attend client meetings and represent AIM at industry conferences and events
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Google Slides capabilities are a plus
- Technical familiarity with HTML or affiliate tracking implementation is a plus
- Broader digital marketing experience across channels such as paid media, content marketing, or influencer partnerships is a plus
- Comfort using AI tools or LLMs to support research, partner discovery, or workflow efficiency
