Job Title: Marketing Specialist

Department: Pocari Sweat

Location: Remote/Onsite/Travel (50-75%)

Reports To: Manager, Marketing Pocari

Overview:

Marketing Specialist will play a critical, proactive role in enhancing the brand presence of Pocari Sweat in the U.S. market. Operating across Social Network Services (SNS), Partnership Management, and Activation Support, this individual will collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners to maximize brand appeal and drive execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• SNS Management:
• • Manage and operate official social media accounts.
    • Create original content that effectively communicates the brand story.
    • Collaborate with and direct external agencies for content creation and strategy.
    • Handle influencer assignments and drive promotional campaigns through collaborations with external content partners.
• Partnership Management:
• • Manage existing partnerships (including the Los Angeles Angels, UCI, and others).
    • Manage incoming inquiries from external accounts and actively create new partnership opportunities.
    • Adopt a highly proactive approach: go beyond standard contractual obligations by actively contacting partners to explore and maximize what the brand can achieve together.
    • Engage deeply in on-site activation execution, moving beyond basic event management to ensure successful implementation.
• Activation Support:
• • Work closely and cross-functionally with Sales, Retail Marketing, and Experiential Marketing teams to provide multifaceted support.
    • Collaborate with external agencies to execute on-site activations for various events and campaigns.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong passion and interest in the marketing field, with a proactive, out-of-the-box mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to smoothly drive projects involving diverse stakeholders (agencies, influencers, partners, and internal departments).
• Experience in, or a strong willingness to engage in, content creation and acting as a brand representative at large-scale events (e.g., Tokyo Marathon).
