Content & Social Media Coordinator | NYC (Hybrid)

Want to work directly with the founder of a scaling 7-figure influencer-led beauty brand and grow its social presence in the US? With many new product lines emerging in 2026, we are looking for a hungry, growth-driven intern based in NYC to drive brand awareness through content marketing. 

About the company

Glowie by Her offers premium, salon-grade beauty essentials designed for modern women who want luxury results, without the lengthy salon visits. 

Our goal is to become a global influencer led beauty brand (think Summer Fridays, Gisou, Rhode etc) with a wide range of product lines making millions of women's beauty routines easier.

You will be working closely with the founder and a team of offshore marketing specialists to translate your creative ideas into a real business context. 

This is a paid, 3-month internship with the intention to convert to a full-time role for the right person. We're not looking for someone to make coffee — we're looking for a future core team member of a global 9 figure brand. 

What You'll Do

Team Coordination & Marketing Operations

  • Collaboratively work with the team to provide approvals, feedback, and adjustments to content sent in for our daily IG stories, emails, feed graphics, and feed plans from our marketing assistant + designers.
  • Strategise our influencer outreach program so that we can receive high converting content for our socials + ads
  • Plan out strategic promotions and campaigns for our marketing calendar and communicate these ideas with the team to implement on the website/socials
  • Brand partnerships: Reach out and coordinate brand partnerships such as giveaways, gift with purchases, or other brand collaborations (Aim for 1 per month)
  • Video editing: Edit content from shoots and our creators to use for socials + ads
  • Emails: Work together with our graphic designer + marketing assistant to implement high converting email campaigns.
  • Assist with shoots: Moodboard, plan and coordinate shoots and help with the shooting on-site
  • Coordinate shoots end-to-end: moodboarding, logistics, prop sourcing, and on-site execution

Content Creation & Social Media Strategy & Implementation

Own and execute our end-to-end content pipeline for TikTok, Instagram, and short-form platforms.

  • Conceptualise, shoot, and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories)
  • Analyse social performance and optimise content based on results & identify viral content opportunities and growth opportunities across social platforms
  • Collaborate with the team and founder on creative concepts for product launches and promotions
  • Research and ideate high converting ads we can create in both photo and video format
  • End-to-end content creation and production - concept, shoot, and edit compelling short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) that aligns with current trends and our brand voice
  • Plan and coordinate content shoots (locations, scripts, props, talent)
  • Edit video content for both organic social and paid ads
  • Work with our design team to produce photo and video assets for campaigns
  • Identify viral formats and translate them into repeatable content systems

**About you

:**

  • 1–3 years of experience in a marketing, content, or social media role — ideally within beauty, lifestyle, or DTC ecommerce
  • A proven content creator in your own right — you know what performs on TikTok and Instagram, and you can back it up with results
  • Strategic thinker who can move between big-picture planning and hands-on execution
  • Not camera-shy — equally comfortable in front of or behind the camera
  • Highly organised and self-directed; you take ownership without waiting to be asked
  • Strong copywriting instincts — you can write captions that stop the scroll
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools to work faster and smarter
  • Based in New York City (hybrid role)
