Role Description
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Marketing Manager to lead our brand growth and community presence. In this role, you will be responsible for turning our 40,000-square-foot playground into the premier household name for NYC families. You will craft high-level strategies, manage a small team, and use performance analytics to drive results.
The ideal candidate has a background in the kids or retail space and can balance brand building with the tactical execution of digital, traditional, and partnership-based marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing calendar designed to increase foot traffic, party bookings, and brand awareness.
Partnerships & Sponsorships: Identify, secure, and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors and marketing partners to enhance revenue and awareness.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team, ensuring all content and campaigns are executed on time and align with brand standards.
Analytics & KPIs: Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Utilize data to optimize ad spend,, and conversion metrics.
Social & Influencer Marketing: Oversee social media channels and lead an influencer outreach program to engage NYC’s top family and lifestyle creators.
Newsletters & CRM: Manage the email marketing strategy, including the design and distribution of weekly newsletters to drive repeat visits.
Pricing & Promotion: Collaborate with leadership on pricing strategies and promotional offers to maximize revenue during peak and off-peak hours.
Traditional Marketing: Oversee local outreach efforts, including physical signage, community flyering, and local business cross-promotions.
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years of marketing experience, specifically within the kids’ entertainment, toy, or retail sectors.
Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to create marketing plans from the ground up and manage a budget effectively.
Partnership Skills: Experience identifying and maintaining professional relationships with sponsors and external partners.
Digital Proficiency: Strong understanding of social media algorithms, influencer landscapes, and email marketing platforms.
Analytical Skills: Proficient in using data and Google Analytics to measure campaign success and ROI.
Leadership: Experience managing or leading at least two direct reports or interns.
Communication: Strong professional writing skills for newsletters and marketing collateral.
Adaptability: Comfortable working on-site in a high-energy environment to capture content and understand customer needs.
Passion for Kids: A genuine love for the world of play and creating memorable experiences for children and families.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Salary - 65K/year
