About the Company: Propedix is a biopharma and consumer health company dedicated to advancing innovative treatments in healthcare. Our flagship product, Dryello for Athlete’s Foot, featuring breakthrough antifungal and drying-agent technology, launched in Q3 2025, and we have a pipeline of advanced OTC and Rx treatments in dermatology and health. Position: Director, Strategic & Global Marketing
Position Overview: The Director of Strategic & Global Marketing is responsible for leading Propedix’s global marketing strategy and international commercial expansion. This role drives brand strategy, global messaging, market development, and commercialization planning across both U.S. and international markets.This is a part-time leadership role expected to require approximately 12–15 hours per week.
The position owns the Ex-U.S. profit and loss (P&L) and leads international expansion efforts, including the launch of Dryello brands into new global markets. The role also oversees global brand governance, strategic marketing initiatives, and new channel development to accelerate growth.
This position focuses on strategic marketing leadership and global commercialization, while technical program management for product development is handled by dedicated program leadership. This role will work with Project Management to shepherd new product and new indications from Product Development to commercial launch.
Key Responsibilities
A. Global Marketing Strategy & International Expansion
Lead the development and execution of the company’s global marketing strategy and international commercialization roadmap.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage all pre-launch marketing activities. Including: pre-launch marketing plan, product positioning, market research, and coordination with manufacturing, and international regulatory regarding packaging, labelling, customer.
- Manage new channel development partners to the point of commercialization including retail test accounts, GPOs, etc.
- Own the Ex-U.S. P&L, including revenue forecasting and market performance tracking.
- Lead international market entry strategy and commercialization planning.
- Oversee the launch of Dryello brands in approximately six new international markets.
- Identify priority global markets and develop market entry frameworks.
- Monitor competitive landscapes and identify global growth opportunities.
B. Strategic Marketing & Brand Leadership
Establish and maintain the global brand platform and marketing strategy across all markets.
Responsibilities include:
- Own and maintain global brand standards, messaging architecture, and positioning.
- Oversee the corporate website and global digital brand presence.
- Lead strategic market research and consumer insight development.
- Develop launch messaging and marketing frameworks for new indications and SKUs.
- Ensure brand consistency across all markets and channels.
- Support development of key marketing claims and product positioning.
C. New Channel & Market Development
Identify and develop new commercialization channels to accelerate market penetration.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify and evaluate retail, pharmacy, GPO, and emerging channel opportunities.
- Develop test-and-learn channel pilots for both U.S. and international markets.
- Lead U.S. retail test programs and pilot launches to evaluate market performance and support broader national rollout strategies.
- Identify key influencers and opinion leaders to support new product launches.
- Build relationships with patient advocacy groups relevant to dermatology and skin health.
- Conduct market research to support expansion into new indications and categories.
D. Corporate Strategy & Investor Support
Support corporate development and investor communications related to commercial strategy.
Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to corporate presentations and investor materials.
- Provide commercial market sizing, opportunity analysis, and growth projections.
- Support fundraising discussions with strategic marketing insights.
- Develop materials supporting international growth strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
The Director of Strategic & Global Marketing will collaborate closely with leadership across the organization, including: CEO, CTO, CMO, Director of Manufacturing, VP U.S. Commercialization, Program Director / Technical Project Management.
While the Program Director leads product development execution and technical program management, this role ensures that marketing strategy and commercial planning are aligned with product development timelines.
Experience & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in marketing or commercial leadership roles
- Experience in consumer health, OTC pharmaceuticals required
- Dermatology, or related healthcare sectors preferred
- Proven experience building brand strategy and commercialization plans
- Demonstrated success launching products in international markets
- Experience managing P&L responsibility and global brand strategy
- Strong understanding of regulated healthcare marketing environments

Hours: Approx 15 hours a week. Work can be performed virtually. Candidates must be available for live meetings and email correspondence on average 2 hours a day during normal business hours. Attendance at a monthly live monthly program management review (which this position would lead) and attendance at a weekly either Operations or Management team meeting requires**.**
Location: Virtual but strong preference for candidates who live in So. Cal or Boston (company HQs)
Compensation. $5,000 to $6,000 per month based on experience. Eligible for stock options after 3 to 4 month of service that demonstrates proficiency in the role and mutual desire to be part of the management team in a longer term capacity. This is an independent contractor 1099 position**.**
Support and Supervisor: Position will report to the CEO who will be their administrative supervisor. This position is expected to work closely on a weekly y basis with the CTO, CMO, Dir of Manuf, Dir of Project management and VP of U.S. Commercialization, and all critical 3rd party partners**.**
Pay: $5,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
