Overview

The Associate Account Executive is in the early stages of learning agency life, gaining hands-on experience across strategy, creative development, social content, digital production, and campaign execution.

In this role, you’ll build a strong foundation in modern marketing—supporting the development and rollout of integrated campaigns with a strong emphasis on social-first thinking, content creation, and digital storytelling. You’ll sharpen your written communication skills through team status reports, client recaps, and social/content briefs, while developing an eye for detail through routing, proofreading, and asset QA across platforms.

You’ll also gain exposure to how brands show up in culture, learning how to support always-on social, content calendars, influencer activations, and real-time opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Account Executives in managing client relationships and serving as the main point of contact for client communications.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (such as creative, content, and digital) to develop and execute marketing strategies that align with client objectives.
  • Prepare project briefs, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular updates to clients, including actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Support influencer and creator initiatives, including coordination, timelines, and deliverables
  • Help build and maintain content calendars, social plans, and campaign timelines
  • Conduct research and analysis to support client initiatives, including competitive analysis, market trends, and audience insights.
  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations, proposals, and reports.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to contribute fresh ideas and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–2 years of experience in an agency, marketing, or related environment (internships included)
  • Understands (or is eager to learn) how brands show up across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Interest in learning about multiple marketing disciplines, from strategy to production
