Kitchen Supply is a Burnsville-based housewares company behind six consumer brands — each with its own distinct identity and audience. Our family of brands includes Escali (kitchen scales and thermometers), The London Sip (coffee and espresso tools), Joyce Chen (Asian kitchenware and cookware), Old Stone Pizza Kitchen (pizza stones and grilling tools), Maverick Industries (wireless thermometers and grilling technology), and Lexa (handcrafted bamboo serveware). All six brands are sold through individual brand websites and through our integrated D2C store at KitchenSupply.com.

We are launching our full direct-to-consumer business across all six brands simultaneously — and we need a creative, motivated content specialist to help us build our online presence and drive sales from the ground up.

About the Role

This is a hands-on social media and content role focused on growing our D2C business across six lifestyle brands. You will report to our Marketing Manager and work within a small team that supports content production, photography, and creative assets. Your primary job is to execute — publishing social content, writing blog posts and SEO-driven articles, and helping build engaged communities on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.

The right person for this role is someone who genuinely loves food, cooking, and lifestyle content — and who gets excited about telling different brand stories to different audiences. Personality and passion matter as much as experience here.

What You Will Do

  • Create and publish organic social content across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest for all six brands
  • Write blog posts and SEO-optimized content that drives traffic to brand websites and KitchenSupply.com
  • Develop content calendars and post schedules in collaboration with the Marketing Manager
  • Work with the team to brief, coordinate, and organize photo and video assets for social use
  • Monitor social channels, engage with followers, and help build community around each brand
  • Track basic performance metrics (reach, engagement, traffic) and share learnings with the team
  • Stay current on platform trends, formats, and best practices — especially Reels, TikTok, and Pinterest Idea Pins
  • Support influencer outreach and partnership coordination as the program develops

What We Are Looking For

  • 1–4 years of experience in social media, content marketing, or a related role
  • Genuine enthusiasm for food, cooking, home lifestyle, or consumer products — this is not a generic social media job
  • Strong writing skills — you can adapt your voice across brands and write copy that feels natural, not corporate
  • Comfortable working across multiple brands with different tones and audiences simultaneously
  • Hands-on experience with Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest — you understand what performs on each platform
  • Basic familiarity with SEO principles and blog writing for organic search
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple content streams without dropping the ball
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe, or similar tools for light content editing a plus
  • Experience with Shopify or e-commerce platforms a plus
