Role Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Growth & Acquisition to architect and execute the overarching vision of our Paid Media program. This is not a "hands-off" management role. While you will lead a team of specialists, you remain a primary architect of our full-funnel strategy and the lead strategist for our overall digital scaling efforts.

The ideal candidate understands how to bridge the gap between high-level brand awareness and granular performance conversion, moving beyond individual channels to view growth through a holistic, omnichannel lens. You will be the primary owner of our conversion ecosystem and the leader responsible for growing our full-funnel efforts within the Google ecosystem and beyond. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful creatives and content that elevate Rack Room Shoes presence online while maintaining a relentless focus on efficiency-led growth and technical excellence.

Core Responsibilities

  • Omnichannel Strategy & Google Leadership : Serve as the primary architect and lead executioner for the Google ecosystem. You will drive the full-funnel strategy ensuring Google operations are optimized for both brand elevation and granular conversion.
  • Social Synergy & Discovery Alignment : Partner closely with the Sr. Manager of Social to bridge the gap between Social discovery and Search intent. You will coordinate budget and messaging to ensure that high-performing social creative is fueling search volume and that remarketing loops are closed across both ecosystems.
  • Organic & Paid Search Integration (SEO) : Collaborate with the Sr. Manager of SEO to lead our GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) transition. You will ensure paid keyword targeting and organic content strategies are unified, maximizing our total SERP dominance and ensuring a cohesive "One-Search" approach.
  • Affiliate & Partner Performance Loop : Work with the Affiliate Manager to align high-intent partner traffic with our performance media funnels. You will ensure that affiliate-driven insights are leveraged to optimize paid landing pages, and that top-performing affiliate content is amplified through paid channels where appropriate.
  • Unified Budget & Efficiency Management : Own and optimize the Paid Media budget with a focus on Google, while maintaining real-time visibility into how spend shifts impact other channels. You will lead the discussion on cross-channel attribution to ensure we are scaling into the most efficient levers across the entire mix.
  • Strategic Testing & Road mapping : Lead the testing lifecycle for the Google channel while sharing "cross-functional learnings" with other channel leads. You will design experiments that test the "halo effect" of one channel on another, moving beyond silos to find holistic scaling opportunities.
  • Platform & Execution Excellence : You are responsible for the hands-on integrity of the Google / Bing account, ensuring technical best practices are met while you mentor your team on execution.
  • Full-Funnel Reporting & Business Outcomes : Standardize KPI dashboards that provide real-time visibility into full-funnel health. You will translate complex metrics into clear business outcomes, highlighting for leadership how collaboration across Search, Social, and Affiliate is driving total efficiency-led growth.
  • New Opportunity scoping : In partnership with our social & Affiliate leads, develops and grow our CTV/OTT/Influencer efforts.
