Social Media Marketing Intern

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing strategies. The intern will assist in developing engaging content for various platforms, analyzing social media performance, and contributing to our overall brand presence online.

Duties

• Assist in the creation and scheduling of content across multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Conduct SEO and keyword research to optimize content for search engines.
• Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Google Analytics to monitor social media performance and engagement metrics.
• Engage in social listening to understand audience sentiment and trends.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on graphic design projects using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases and managing relationships with influencers.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaigns and promotional strategies.
• Create visually appealing graphics and videos for social media posts.
• Proofread all content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
• Assist in e-commerce initiatives by promoting products through effective social media advertising strategies.

Experience
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

• Familiarity with social media marketing strategies and platforms.
• Knowledge of digital marketing principles including branding and public relations.
• Experience with video editing tools is a plus.
• Understanding of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics to assess campaign effectiveness.
• Strong relationship management skills to engage with audiences effectively.
• Ability to create compelling content that resonates with target demographics.
