<Job Overview>
Better Than is a fast-growing wellness brand looking to hire part-time Social Media Specialists to help bring our brand to life across TikTok and Instagram.
This role is primarily remote, but candidates should be based in or willing to commute to the Washington, D.C. area for in-person content creation and collaboration with our marketing manager. (We’re currently in the process of securing an office space in the area.)
We’re currently known for our electrolyte hydration products, with an exciting new product launch coming this summer.
<Responsibilities>
- Create engaging, on-brand content for TikTok and Instagram (independently and collaboratively)
- Design high-quality, branded graphics for Instagram
- Brainstorm and pitch content ideas aligned with trends and brand voice
- Stay on top of social media trends, sounds, and formats
- Assist in planning and executing weekly content calendars
- Support influencer outreach, collaborations, and UGC sourcing
- Engage with our community through comments and DMs
- Track content performance and help identify what’s working
- Contribute to content creation for upcoming product launches
<Skills>
- Familiar with TikTok, Instagram (Meta), and Pinterest
- Proficient in tools like Canva and CapCut
- Strong understanding of social media trends and content formats
- Comfortable being on camera and creating video content
- Creative, proactive, and excited to grow with a brand
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
