About the job

Launched in 2014 by former philosophy professor David Barnett, PopSockets is a global digital-lifestyle company that sells empowering, fun, and expressive products that improve people’s digital lives. PopSockets has sold close to 300 million of its iconic phone grips in 75 countries and now has an expanding ecosystem of related products, including phone cases, wallets, mounts, batteries, and chargers.

Our mission is to empower enhanced mobile functionality, self-expression, and authentic human connection. We imagine an Eternal Positivity Machine that sparks joy, creativity, and meaningful relationships. We bring this vision to life by upholding the highest standards in materials, packaging, logistics, and design—while ensuring our supply chain and labor practices remain ethical, responsible, and transparent.

In 2021, PopSockets was honored as one of Fast Company’s World's Most Innovative Companies.

The PopSockets Marketing team is building a best-in-class creator program that drives cultural relevance, brand affinity, and measurable impact. We're looking for an Influencer Marketing Specialist to help scale creator partnerships and grow EMV through long-term relationship building. Reporting to the Influencer Marketing Manager, this role will lead day-to-day campaign execution — from sourcing and onboarding creators to gifting logistics, affiliate activations, content approvals, and performance reporting. The Influencer Marketing Specialist will be based out of Boulder, CO at our HQ office, or in LA with occasional travel to Colorado.

YOUR OBJECTIVE: To drive the growth of PopSockets' brand and community through creator-led marketing that sparks joy, amplifies self-expression, and builds authentic human connection.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, vet, and establish long-term relationships with influencers across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Build and maintain a robust creator database, tracking performance metrics, partnership history, contract terms, and brand alignment notes
  • Execute influencer campaigns end-to-end, including outreach, negotiation, contracts, content guidelines, approvals, and post-campaign reporting
  • Coordinate content calendars, deadlines, and deliverables between agency and internal teams
  • Review and approve influencer content to ensure alignment with brand standards and legal requirements (FTC disclosures, usage rights)
  • Track influencer campaign performance and engagement using platform analytics and third-party tools
  • Manage product inventory for influencer programs and coordinate ad hoc send-outs, partnering with Operations to ensure efficient and timely seeding logistics
  • Monitor and forecast product usage for influencer programs, reporting needs back to the Influencer Marketing Manager and cross-functional partners
  • Develop detailed content briefs that clearly communicate messaging, creative direction, deliverables, and timelines

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in influencer marketing at a brand or agency
  • Experience using CreatorIQ is required
  • Strong eye for creator content and understanding of what makes influencer creative feel authentic, engaging, and platform-native
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects moving forward simultaneously

What Success Looks Like

  • A growing, high-quality creator roster that authentically represents PopSockets across Style Maven, Interest Amplifier, and Solutionist audiences
  • Consistent EMV growth driven by long-term creator relationships, not one-off activations
  • Influencer content that earns cultural relevance — showing up organically in the conversations that matter to our consumers
  • Creators who grow with the brand, moving from one-time partners to loyal brand advocates
  • Content that works hard beyond the initial post — reused across brand channels, retail, and CRM
  • Activations that ladder up to the PopSockets brand platform, not just product features
