Overview
The Praxis team is seeking a technically curious, adaptable, and insights‑oriented intern to join the team for Summer 2026. This role works directly with GTM leadership to help build the intelligence, strategies, and frameworks that support Praxis's transformation into a comprehensive educator career platform.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may evolve based on project priorities, but will include the following focus areas:
Marketing Intelligence & Competitive Strategy
- Develop and maintain market intelligence and competitive strategy documentation to support Praxis GTM decision‑making.
- Benchmark ETS and competitor digital presence across social media, content, SEO, and community channels to identify positioning gaps and opportunities.
- Track teacher certification policy trends, state adoption shifts, and teacher shortage data to inform GTM strategy, messaging, and narrative development.
- Conduct competitive intelligence research using Evaluserve and summarize findings for internal stakeholders.
B2B / B2G Institutional Marketing
- Map decision‑maker personas and buying processes for: State education agencies Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs) School districts
- Research high‑impact industry conferences and associations (e.g., NASDTEC, AACTE, CCSSO) and recommend engagement strategies.
- Support go‑to‑market planning for new B2B products (e.g., Adapt AI, Testing Support Services), including positioning frameworks and outreach approaches.
- Create and document B2B/B2G social media strategy, primarily focused on LinkedIn, to support institutional awareness and thought leadership.
B2C Growth & Audience Engagement
- Develop a multi‑channel social media and community engagement strategy targeting aspiring teachers (ages 20-35).
- Support platform‑specific strategy and content planning across social media channels
- Identify education micro‑influencers and teacher content creators, and recommend a pilot ambassador program framework.
- Support content strategy for Praxis owned channels
Insights, Analytics & Operations
- Build and enhance dashboards in Qualtrics, supporting increased adoption and improved reporting for marketing stakeholders.
- Support data exploration, light analysis, and synthesis of insights for internal partner teams.
- Test, iterate, and document Microsoft Copilot use cases to improve marketing efficiency.
- Support prompt design, workflow mapping, and assessment of AI tool effectiveness.
- Assist in documenting insights workstreams, templates, and repeatable processes.
- Act as a liaison with external vendors, ensuring requests are clarified, tracked, and delivered.

Experience and Skills:
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited MBA program in a postgraduate program in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Communications, or related fields.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to clearly present research, insights, and recommendations.
- Curious and comfortable learning new tools, platforms, and analytical methods not typically covered in university coursework.
- Strong interest in:
- Marketing strategy and GTM planning
- Analytics and dashboard development
- AI tools and prompt engineering
- Market and competitive research
- Marketing strategy and GTM planning
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, shift between workstreams, and collaborate cross‑functionally

- The base salary range advertised represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The base pay is only one aspect of the Total Rewards Package that will be offered to the successful candidate.
