Position Summary:

City Cruises US is looking for a skilled and driven Sales and Marketing Manager to support City Cruises business for the NorCal region. Ideal candidate will have a consistent track record of supporting marketing and creative development processes to execute campaigns and various projects. This role will need someone that is capable and able to drive revenue in areas that are underperforming in Northern California Ports. The Sales and Marketing Manager supports all marketing functions for local port through interaction with the Regional Marketing Director and the marketing, sales, and business development teams. The Sales and Marketing Manager will support the Director of West Coast sales in managing the local sales team and the coordination team. The Sales and Marketing Manager has a broad knowledge of, and skills in, sales and marketing concepts and tactics and uses them to contribute to the overall sales goals and marketing plan for the company and its offerings.

The right person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Cruises’ RESPECT Service System. The position is based in the San Francisco office but with a coverage area of San Francisco, Berkeley and Sacramento and is expected to visit each location at a minimum monthly basis. The position is Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm with mandatory occasional night and weekend events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Regional Marketing Director on local execution of annual marketing plans, events, promotions,
and communications to drive sales for NorCal cruise products.
- Support the Director of West Coast Sales in managing the coordination team in NorCal.
- Support the General Manager and work hand in hand with the Directors of Marine OPS and Guest Services to
ensure that locally booked sales events are addressed and executed properly from the client’s perspective.
- Ensure the consistent implementation of fleet products, service and brand standards across the region
while also adopting a flexible and consultative approach to local marketing initiatives and promotions
enabling the regions to achieve maximum exposure.
- Support NorCal Sales team with marketing needs for upcoming trade shows or client meetings and provide
relevant up to date branded marketing materials, as directed by Regional Marketing Director.
- Attend local tradeshows, organizational networking events (ex: SF Travel) and other programs to represent
City Cruises and obtain incremental business and partnership opportunities, as directed by leadership
team.
- Assist in designing, printing, ordering, and relocating marketing collateral and promotional items as needed
across ports in the region. Includes going around from port to port and swapping out marketing materials
and setting up displays onboard boats.
- Work closely with Public Cruise Manger to make sure all on-site directional signage is kept up to date.
Including but not limited to, CC Live events, showcases, captain’s tables, tradeshows, publicity events,
specialty cruises as well as Sacramento Cruises and its Ticket booth.
o Work with PCM on the website updates and modifications as well as conduct regular sweeps
on partner websites for accuracy and updates as needed.
- Support Hotel Concierge Program and provide proper materials and drive more sales through these
partners
- Organize and maintain local content library of photos, videos, and sales documents.
- In conjunction with PR team, maintain online event listings and proactively pursue new listing opportunities.
- Assist with promotional offer setup including drafting promotional offer request forms, tracking results, and
preparing recap presentations.
- Support Marketing Director and PR team with growing Social Influencer program. Including but not limited to
reservations, content shoots, and when necessary, gathering onboard video and photo content.
- Invoice Reconciliation for Marketing and Sales costs.
- Assist with creating and maintaining business partner and vendor contact databases.
- Participation in a variety of related meetings.
- Additional job duties assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, advertising or related field
- 2-4 years’ experience in a marketing role
- 2-4 years’ experience in a sales role
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good working knowledge of design platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Canva
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- A critical thinker and problem solver
- Ability to work under pressure and motivation to succeed in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams
- Time, project management and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Salary Range $85000 - $90000.
