POSITION OVERVIEW
The Social Media Specialist supports the strategic roadmaps for our organic social clients, moving beyond execution to drive long-term channel innovation. This role is responsible for architecting content engines that bridge the gap between audience insights and high-fidelity creative execution. The ideal candidate is a strategic lead who can navigate complex product stories and turn asset deficits into creative opportunities that drive brand resonance.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, or communications.
- 3+ years of professional social media experience with a proven track record of managing complex client rosters.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, using data to justify creative directions and resource needs.
- A portfolio that showcases disruptive thinking and social-first production.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to provide insights to clients and internal leadership.
- Travel (as necessary) on behalf of client meetings, content shoots and conferences.
- There is no busy season or light season. We work hard, and we move quickly. This job requires relentless hustle and a roll-up-your-sleeves-and-do-your-part mentality. It’s also really fun.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development and execution of comprehensive organic social strategies that align with broader marketing objectives.
- Translate audience insights into social media audits, actionable series concepts, and recurring content pillars that keep brands relevant.
- Collaborate closely with the creative and video teams to frame shot lists and production briefs that ensure social content meets agency standards.
- Support trade and paid influencer campaigns, from strategic sourcing and contract negotiation to creative briefing and performance analysis.
- Analyze social performance data to provide high-level strategic recommendations that influence future creative and budget allocation.
- Partner with Account, Creative and Project Management teams to formalize workflows and ensure social integration is seamless across all agency touch points.
- Ensure all social strategies and content outputs comply with complex client guidelines while pushing for disruptive, stop-the-scroll creative.
