We go beyond traditional social media and advertising by tapping into cultural conversations with strategies designed to be both creative and measurable.

Job Description

We are seeking an Account Strategist to serve as a client-facing strategic lead responsible for guiding integrated digital marketing initiatives with a strong understanding of brand strategy, social ecosystems, content, creators/influencers, and performance measurement. This role blends relationship management, strategic vision, and a data-informed mindset.

The Account Strategist is not only the primary client contact, but also a strategic thought partner who connects brand positioning, audience insights, content development, channel strategy, and measurement into cohesive, growth-driven programs. This individual should be fluent across digital ecosystems including organic social, influencer/creator programs, paid media (as needed), web/landing experiences, and emerging platforms and understand how these pieces work together to drive results.

You will manage high-visibility accounts in an agile, fast-paced environment, partnering closely with Strategy, Creative, Content, Project Management, and Growth/Performance teams to ensure work is strategically sound, creatively compelling, and continuously optimized.

Responsibilities

The following is a summary of general job responsibilities, this summary is not all-inclusive and may be broadened or changed to meet changing business needs.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships rooted in trust, clarity, and outcomes.
  • Translate client business objectives into integrated digital strategies with clear KPIs and success metrics.
  • Lead regular client meetings, including weekly status calls and strategic planning sessions.
  • Present strategies, insights, performance trends, and forward-looking recommendations with confidence and clarity.

Strategic Leadership & Paid Media Direction:

  • Lead the development of integrated growth strategies across organic, paid, influencer/creator, and emerging channels.
  • Define the role of each channel in the ecosystem (awareness → consideration → conversion → loyalty), ensuring cohesive storytelling and measurable outcomes.
  • Guide messaging and narrative development rooted in audience insights, platform behavior, and cultural relevance.
  • Partner with internal specialists (Content, Creative, Influencer, Growth/Performance, Web) to shape integrated plans that align with brand positioning and business goals.
  • Use insights and performance signals to refine strategic direction, creative approach, and distribution choices.
  • Proactively identify optimization opportunities, testing frameworks, and growth strategies.

Project & Budget Management:

  • Oversee planning and execution of strategic deliverables to ensure alignment with scope, timing, and budget.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to allocate resources effectively across content production, creators/influencers, and media/distribution investments.
  • Maintain visibility into budgets, pacing, and performance trends (where applicable).
  • Partner with Finance and internal leads to ensure accurate budget tracking, forecasting, and scope management.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Analyze performance across integrated efforts (organic, creator, paid where applicable, and key web/conversion signals) to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead development and presentation of monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Ensure reporting connects metrics back to business impact and client objectives (not just channel outputs).

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment:

  • Partner closely with Strategy, Content, Creative, Influencer, and Growth/Performance teams to ensure cohesive execution from concept to deployment.
  • Lead brainstorms and provide strategic guidance to ensure deliverables align with objectives and audience behavior.
  • Communicate client feedback clearly and ensure alignment before deliverables are presented.
  • Resolve challenges proactively and maintain forward momentum across accounts.

Client Retention & Growth:

  • Identify opportunities to expand initiatives and integrated services.
  • Proactively recommend new testing initiatives, channel expansions, creator partnerships, audience growth strategies, and innovative cross-functional opportunities that accelerate performance and long-term brand growth.
  • Support new business initiatives and strategic pitches as needed.
  • Contribute to long-term client growth through strategic leadership and measurable impact.

Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead integrated digital strategy across organic social, content, and distribution (paid a plus, not the sole focus).
  • Strong understanding of digital performance and measurement, including a working knowledge of metrics across engagement, traffic, conversion, and revenue outcomes (as applicable to client goals).
  • Experience leading strategic presentations and articulating both creative rationale and performance-informed recommendations to clients.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear strategic direction and prioritization.
  • Strong command of audience insights, segmentation, and full-funnel frameworks—plus the ability to apply them across multiple channels.
  • Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across creative, content, influencer/creator, and growth/performance functions.
  • Proficiency in project management, collaboration, and productivity tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
