The Opportunity

This role will spearhead RoC's TikTok Shops business, transforming how we reach and convert the next generation of skincare enthusiasts. You'll combine analytical rigor with creative agility to drive revenue growth, optimize our assortment, and build a thriving creator ecosystem. This position requires someone who can move seamlessly between spreadsheets and social trends.

Core Responsibilities

Revenue & Business Performance

  • Drive TikTok Shops channel growth with accountability for revenue targets, margin goals, and profitability metrics
  • Create and execute quarterly business plans with clear KPIs and success measures
  • Optimize product assortment based on platform performance data, social trends, and consumer demand signals
  • Build financial models to evaluate promotional ROI, creator partnership investments, and pricing strategies
  • Prepare executive-ready performance summaries with actionable recommendations for leadership review

Platform Operations & Merchandising

  • Manage end-to-end product catalog including listings, imagery, descriptions, and promotional pricing
  • Design promotional calendars that integrate product launches, seasonal campaigns, and viral skincare moments
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to differentiate RoC's positioning
  • Establish product page standards and lead development of TikTok-native assets in partnership with creative and social teams
  • Optimize inventory allocation working closely with Planning and Supply Chain partners

Partnership & Ecosystem Development

  • Serve as primary liaison with TikTok's platform team to access new features, beta programs, and growth initiatives
  • Build scalable affiliate and influencer programs that balance performance goals with brand authenticity
  • Own creator commission structures and payment workflows, ensuring accurate tracking, timely payouts, and margin discipline across affiliate and influencer programs
  • Evaluate creator performance economics, optimizing commission rates and partnership models to drive profitable growth
  • Manage relationships with external agencies supporting sampling, content creation, and campaign execution
  • Evaluate and test new social commerce platforms to inform future expansion strategy

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Brand Marketing and Social teams to ensure messaging consistency and clinical credibility
  • Partner with Customer Experience to address fulfillment issues and improve satisfaction scores
  • Align with broader Digital & DTC team on integrated customer acquisition and retention strategies
  • Manage channel forecasting and communicate effectively with Operations to secure stock levels

Analytics & Strategic Insights

  • Master platform-specific tools including Seller Center and Affiliate dashboards to extract performance intelligence
  • Establish test-and-learn framework for continuous optimization across content, pricing, and promotion
  • Identify growth opportunities through data analysis of customer behavior, conversion patterns, and marketing efficiency
  • Translate platform trends into strategic recommendations for marketing investment

What You Bring

Professional Background

  • 4-6 years in e-commerce channel management, digital marketing, or online merchandising roles
  • Demonstrated success growing revenue on TikTok Shops or similar social commerce platforms
  • Strong command of e-commerce analytics including conversion optimization, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value
  • Experience managing six-figure budgets and delivering against aggressive growth targets
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline

Technical & Analytical Capabilities

  • Advanced proficiency with TikTok Shops backend systems (Seller Center, Affiliate Center)
  • Comfortable building financial models and conducting scenario analysis in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and marketing tools like Klaviyo
  • Experience using AI productivity tools to enhance workflow efficiency
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear executive communications

  • Genuine enthusiasm for skincare innovation and beauty community culture
  • Always-on nature including occasional off-schedule coverage during key selling periods
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and creative stakeholders
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with experience managing multiple concurrent projects

  • Collaborative approach with proven ability to influence without direct authority

Preferred Background

  • Beauty or skincare industry experience, particularly with clinical or prestige brands
  • Understanding of dermatological claims and regulatory considerations in skincare marketing
  • Previous agency or vendor management experience
  • Exposure to loyalty program mechanics and customer retention strategies
