Want to spend your summer creating content, working with a growing brand, and getting out on the water?

We’re looking for someone who’s excited about content, social media, and being part of a small, hands-on team. This role is very content-focused, but also includes customer interaction and helping out with different marketing projects as they come up.

You won’t just be posting—you’ll actually help shape what SWELL looks like online.

What you’ll be doing

A majority of this role is focused on content creation and social, with some customer service and occasional events mixed in.

  • Creating content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
  • Shooting and editing photo + video (in-office, on the boat, and lifestyle content)
  • Brainstorming and testing new content ideas and formats
  • Building reels, TikToks, and stories that feel natural to the platform
  • Keeping up with trends and helping us act on them quickly
  • Engaging with our audience (comments, DMs, community)

Alongside content, you’ll also:

  • Respond to customer chats, emails, and calls
  • Support influencer + ambassador efforts
  • Help with day-to-day marketing projects
  • Assist at occasional demos or events

What we’re looking for

  • Interested in content creation, marketing, or social media
  • Comfortable creating for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Has a good eye for what performs well (and why)
  • Pays attention to trends and enjoys staying current
  • Strong communicator (written + in-person)
  • Creative, but also willing to test, learn, and adapt
  • Organized and able to manage a few things at once

Bonus points if you:

  • Are into watersports / wakesurfing
  • Have experience driving a boat
  • Have created content for a brand or growing personal account

What to expect

This is a hands-on role where most days revolve around content and social. Some days you’ll be filming, some days editing or planning, and some days helping customers or jumping into other projects.

You should be comfortable:

  • Talking to customers (in person + on the phone)
  • Being on your feet at times
  • Spending time outside when needed
  • Working occasional afternoons & weekends (for demos/events)

Timing: Mid-May through end of August
