Title: Brand Marketing Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)
Position Summary
• Manage several brand projects and ensure delivery on time and in full
• Help build and distribute marketing assets and other marketing content
• Conduct analysis regularly to understand marketing program performance and provide
recommendations to improve brand performance
• Support US annual brand plan execution
Key Responsibilities:
• Executes shipper, display and seasonal merchandising programs
• Partners with Creative, Packaging, Finance, Sourcing and Manufacturing teams to
develop seasonal products
• Monitors social trends to uncover emerging trends to drive sales
• Creates and manages monthly social media calendar
• Partners with center teams to execute social media plans and content
• Writes influencer marketing briefs for social media content
• Supports PR and brand communication plans
• Supports activation of local advertising campaigns
• Maintains brand website content and owns the Creations Recipe program
• Analyze ecommerce performance and develop content to drive digital share of voice
• Reviews competitor performance and items to identify best practices, threats and
opportunities; Generates learning on how we improve Newell performance
• Exhibit strong collaboration and marketing project management
Required Experience/Qualifications:
• A four-year college degree
• 2+ years of prior experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles is
preferred.
• Desire to function as a business owner and a passion for brand management.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results
• Strong understanding of marketing principles.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop insights.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple
projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, written and oral.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with
marketing analytics tools.
• Up to 10% travel potential.
• Fluent in English.
