Overview We are looking for a Vice President, Analytics to join our Strategy & Analytics team and is responsible for the application of data driven insights into Influential’s planning, investment and measurement processes. This role is ideal for an experienced analytics professional who is passionate about applying data to shape how influencer and content performance is measured, optimized, and scaled.
This role will serve as the main point of contact for our Analytics practice and will be responsible for designing and leading the implementation of modern measurement plans and roadmaps for our clients. As a subject matter expert, you will serve as a thought leader and go-to expert and lean in to lead and execute company-wide initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Drive a culture of ‘always on ‘data-driven decision making that will institutionalize the use of consumer-driven analytics in influencer marketing/investment planning
- Consult with clients to define and answer their most important business questions, advising on how to best leverage data on influencer investments to drive business results
- Provide thought leadership and be a subject matter expert in the designing recommending appropriate analytic methodology and approach to address key client questions
- Lead measurement framework development and define media KPIs linked to the business objectives
- Build the profile of Analytics by packaging and evangelizing best in class client work and provide the clear data and analytics story - why the work is important, the truths that the analytics reveal, and the actions that should follow the analyses
- Work closely with the internal client teams to deliver high-quality execution of a diverse array of client and project deliverables
- Consult with teams to align with the strategy, measurement,and optimization plans
- Develop, manage, and mentor a team and lead analytics efforts and departmental vision
Qualifications Who You Are
- 10+ years in marketing, digital, or influencer analytics, ideally within an agency
- Strong grounding in traditional and digital media advertising effectiveness methods including ROI, preferably working knowledge of market mix model results
- Strong client management/consultative experience both presenting and resolving issues
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present data-driven narratives to clients
- Deep understanding of influencer KPIs, social content measurement, and platform performance metrics
- 6+ years of people management experience with progressing roles and responsibilities
- Strong analytical skills, and comfort with tools and technologies including, but not limited to:
- Programming Languages: Python, R
- Databases and Querying: Relational databases, SQL
- Data Visualization: Tableau, Power BI
- Analytics Tools: Google Analytics, SQL, MS Access
- Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel (Advanced Formulas, Macros, Pivot Tables), PowerPoint

Compensation Range: $160,000 - $190,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
