THE ROLE
We're seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager to enhance our organic presence across all social platforms within the Veeps network. The role will support continued development and growth for a diverse slate of streaming events, ecommerce launches, editorial media and music related campaigns. This role involves executing digital campaigns, managing content calendars, and facilitating collaboration between marketing operations, editorial, and e-commerce teams. You will handle all aspects of social media from trend spotting to project management, publishing, and audience engagement, reposting opportunities and tagging, supported by regular reporting on campaign performance.
The ideal candidate possesses a keen awareness of emerging music and shopping trends, and excels at engaging with our audience. A proactive self-starter, you thrive in fast-paced environments and are skilled in problem-solving. Collaboration with the in-house Marketing team and the Creative and Growth teams will be essential in driving brand engagement and growth. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Content Publishing & Coordination:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of all brand social media channels (Instagram, X, Threads, Broadcast Channels, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, YouTube Community, Veeps).
- Schedule and post all content across channels, prioritizing native tools and tags over pre-scheduling including development of captions/copy (tone, voice) for team approval
- Maintain and update the editorial calendar (including tags and product links), ensuring alignment across Marketing, Content, Partnerships, PR, Editorial, Product teams campaign launches.
- Ensure all content is optimized per platform, leveraging best practices in copy, tags, and timing.
- Collaborate with the creative team to deliver assets required for posting.
Community Management:
- Actively engage with audiences through likes, comments, and DMs to foster a vibrant community around our brands with pre-approved responses
- Respond to brand-related questions, comments, brand mentions, and DMs in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
- Support influencer, ambassador, artist/band, label & management social amplification efforts by monitoring and engaging with their content daily, including identification of gorilla marketing opportunities (fan pages, groups, external platform conversations)
Social Listening & Insights:
- Lead social listening to identify trending topics, audience conversations, and cultural moments relevant to the brand.
- Track industry news and social media trends, providing insights for engagement opportunities.
- Compile and distribute regular reports on campaign efficacy, identifying areas for growth and optimization.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports summarizing key metrics, learnings, and recommendations.
Content & Social Strategy:
- Coordinate with internal teams / stakeholders and collaborators to streamline consistency and distribution timelines.
- Generate and pitch innovative ideas that speak directly to target audiences for each IP and attributed platforms to key stakeholders based on reporting insights.
- Compile and distribute regular reports to internal teams; utilize data to evaluate campaign efficacy; evaluate internal and competitive digital campaign performances to determine each post's success and areas of opportunity/growth.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication (or related field), along with a proactive, collaborative attitude.
- 2-5 years of experience managing social platforms for multiple brands, with agency or label experience preferred.
- Proven track record of building and managing social media accounts, demonstrating positive growth and community engagement, preferably in an agency setting.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with excellent copywriting abilities under pressure for multiple campaigns.
- In-depth understanding of and extensive passion for social media platforms, industry trends, new technologies, AI, gaming, the music market and digital music services.
- Knowledge of audio, photo, and video editing programs, as well as social management and listening platforms.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while managing multiple projects.
- Proven experience in running reports, analyzing data, and utilizing insights for strategy development.
- Creative thinker adept at conceptualizing engaging social strategies that resonate with target audiences.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$96,000.00 USD - $120,000.00 USD ** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
