The Role
This is for someone who lives and breathes creative content, capturing, editing, designing, and brand storytelling, and understands how social media is an important distribution channel for it.
You’ll help bring the brand to life across platforms, campaigns, and content, fully owning social media while contributing to the broader creative vision, and department needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Helping with concept, shoot, and edit content across social, campaigns, and brand moments
- Translate brand vision into daily content that feels elevated, on-trend, and intentional
- Assist in art direction for campaigns, launches, and product storytelling
- Bring new ideas constantly—formats, hooks, visuals, and storytelling angles
- Support photoshoots, campaign prep, and creative production
- Help organize content pipelines, assets, and workflows
- Act as a bridge & support between creative, marketing, and brand
- Own and execute the social content calendar across platforms
- Create, edit and publish static and video content (Reels, TikTok, Stories, static, etc.)
- Stay ahead of trends and translate them into brand-relevant content
- Engage with the community and maintain brand voice
- Manage structured content planning to get the right content ratios
- Analyze performance and optimize content based on insights and KPIs
- Identify opportunities for growth, virality, and audience engagement
- Collaborate on campaign strategy, launches, and brand initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of in-house creative or content experience (beauty/fashion/lifestyle preferred)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms
- Not just a “social media manager”—you have taste and a strong creative POV
- Strong eye for design, composition, and brand storytelling
- Comfortable shooting and editing content (iPhone + Adobe)
- Strong experience with graphic design and video editing
- You think in ideas, not just posts
- Highly organized but creatively driven
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed lash artist or experience in the lash or beauty industry (preferred )If not currently licensed, must be willing to complete lash certification (provided by Borboleta) and develop professional lash skills drive creation of technical lash artist content for BorboletaPro
- Experience working with or creating content for a beauty or e-commerce brand
- Strong understanding of the lash artist community and salon culture
- Creative/Marketing related degree
- Experience on set in any capacity or assisting with creative direction
- Production experience
- Copywriting skills and strong brand voice intuition
- Influencer or UGC experience
- Asset management & File naming & organizing
- Social Media Scheduling tools

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
