Position Overview

The Events & Activations Coordinator is responsible for bringing the Margaritaville lifestyle to life through engaging on-property programming, vibrant F&B activations, and dynamic social media storytelling. This role blends creativity, coordination, and digital marketing to drive guest engagement, brand awareness, and revenue across the hotel, restaurants, bars, and event spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Hotel & F&B Programming / Activations

  • Develop, plan, and execute on-site activations, seasonal programming, and signature experiences across hotel and F&B outlets (mixology classes, live music, pop-ups, themed weekends, holiday experiences, and brand partnerships).
  • Coordinate with F&B, Events, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure seamless execution of activations.
  • Manage activation calendars, timelines, budgets, and vendor/partner relationships.
  • Support influencer visits, media activations, and special events to maximize exposure and impressions.
  • Track performance and guest engagement metrics to optimize future programming.

Social Media & Digital Marketing

  • Create and publish engaging content/videos across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) showcasing hotel experiences, F&B outlets, events, and promotions.
  • Capture on-site photo and video content during activations and daily operations.
  • Manage community engagement, comments, and direct messages in alignment with brand voice.
  • Monitor trends, platform insights, and performance analytics to improve reach and engagement.

Brand & Collaboration

  • Ensure all programming and content align with brand standards and hotel positioning.
  • Support cross-promotional opportunities with local partners, entertainers, and brands.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, social media, events, or hospitality programming.
  • Strong content creation skills (mobile photography/video, basic editing, captions, and storytelling).
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Passion for hospitality, entertainment, food & beverage, and experiential marketing.
  • Outgoing personality!
