Overview:
We are looking for a qualified Marketing Manager who is driven, organized and detail oriented. The ideal candidate for this role must be self-motivated, creative and have expert-level PowerPoint and presentation skills with an eye for meticulous design. This position will work closely with Sales and Marketing to craft RFP responses in the form of presentation decks that win significant new business.
This person will report to the Sr. Marketing Manager and will handle RFPs as well as marketing presentations. The ideal candidate for this role is excited about Canela and deeply knowledgeable about the U.S. Hispanic market, translating that expertise and enthusiasm into thoughtful, high-quality RFP responses and marketing decks that drive continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and designing marketing decks
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to translate ideas into engaging and compelling visual stories
- Design and/or update templates to facilitate efficient development of recurring and new presentations
- Ensure brand standards and guidelines to create consistency in decks
- Support the marketing team with ad hoc brand partnership requests, custom proposals, and sales materials
- Work effortlessly in a group dynamic, navigating feedback from several sources, while also having the confidence to work independently when needed
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing deadlines and stakeholder feedback
- Bring industry knowledge and cultural fluency to generate fresh, bold, and culturally relevant ideas for brand partners, with a strong understanding of social media trends and pop culture
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, plus minimum 3 years of experience specifically in presentation design
- Full fluency in written and spoken English is required
- U.S. Hispanic market knowledge is a must
- Agency/Marketing/Digital/Sales experience a plus
- Experience in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator a plus
- Strong knowledge of branded content, influencer marketing, and digital media
- Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated ability to tell stories and communicate concepts with easy-to-understand, eye-catching visuals
- Strong conceptual ability, along with expert design and layout skills
- Ability to think, react and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high energy level
- Positive attitude, receptive to creative direction, and design feedback
- Demonstrated ability to function independently
- Excellent time management skills, as well as the ability to effectively establish priorities and manage multiple projects
