Overview:
We're currently seeking a Vice President to join our growing Data and Analytics team. The Vice President (VP) plays a critical leadership role on the team and across the firm. You are expected to have the skills and behaviors needed to up-level client work, build culture and drive growth for the firm. While you should be a big-picture thinker, you also need to be able to lead and inspire teams to turn big ideas into action. Most of all, you need to be an incredible people manager who enjoys developing and mentoring junior staff, a critical aspect of our growing team.
In this role, you must be an expert in research and analytics across communications channels, skilled at leveraging AI and adept at extrapolating data to find the "so what" for clients. This candidate will be expected to conduct primary and secondary research to inform strategy, monitor earned, social and owned activity across relevant platforms and develop insightful and actionable reports for executives.

What you'll be doing:
- Lead integrated client teams to ensure data-driven planning, execution and content development
- Serve as a strategic counselor and lead day-to-day client contact for key client relationships
- Oversee and manage research and analytics projects independently including, but not limited to:
- Creation and implementation of measurement frameworks and research methodologies
- Global qualitative and quantitative research studies (i.e., writing questionnaires, overseeing data collection, analyzing results)
- Media monitoring, predictive risk and crisis assessment
- Whitespace analyses (i.e., competitive and media landscape analysis)
- Narrative intelligence
- Influencer identification and vetting
- Audience analysis
- AI analytics
- Development of new business proposals
- Presenting data and insights to tell a clear and compelling story of impact
- Develop and mentor reports through coaching, consistently providing feedback, holding them accountable, conducting their reviews, and overseeing their professional development
- Demonstrate an expert understanding of the data & analytics space and communications, your client's industries, competitive environments, businesses and business plans
- Serve as a day-to-day team/client contact and lead team's work including reviewing and editing all client materials
- Provide solutions and suggestions to senior staff about how to troubleshoot client-related problems and help team respond to crisis situations
- Manage financial operations for client accounts; oversee creation and ongoing monitoring of program budgets
- Be responsible for reviewing and editing all written materials developed by account team and assist team members with fine-tuning their writing skills
- Manage the flow of account work among junior team members to ensure that client objectives are met
- Act as "champion" of the team and ensure that the staff is motivated, engaged and working to potential and proactively give team members feedback
- Contribute to new business development, including leading RFP responses, proposal writing, client pitches and prospecting
- Become involved in recruiting and evaluate potential new hires to determine if they would work well with Prosek
What makes you qualified:
- 10-12 years of experience
- Strong command of data & analytics measurement and monitoring tools (including Talkwalker/SignalAI or similar platforms, StatSocial)
- Expert understanding of primary quantitative research
- Strong statistical, writing and presentation skills
- Strong eye for detail
- Experience in financial services, professional services, technology and/or B2B communications
- Ability to manage cross-functional integrated teams and form relationships across digital, creative, content and PR
- Adept in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience vetting and selecting research vendors and managing project budgets
- Experience in data integration and visualization platforms and practices preferred, but not required (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, Python, etc.)
- Readiness to deliver excellent client service and be a member of a growing team
- Ability to maintain and grow the collective culture and value of the Data and Analytics team and Prosek as a whole

The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000-175,000. An employee's salary is determined by a range of factors including but not limited to relevant experience, qualifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is one component of Prosek's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, new business commission, paid time off, and other benefits.
