Duties

  • Conduct research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitive messaging to inform communication strategies.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and public speeches to represent the organization at events, conferences, or community outreach activities.
  • Proofread all materials meticulously to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across channels.
  • Oversee social media management by creating content calendars, monitoring engagement metrics, and responding to public inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate with marketing and public relations teams to develop campaigns that enhance brand visibility and reputation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in journalism, public relations, or related communications fields.
  • Strong writing skills with a keen eye for detail; familiarity with AP style is essential.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills suitable for public speaking engagements and media interviews.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information into clear messages.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital content.
  • Knowledge of media relations strategies and experience in cultivating media contacts.
  • Demonstrated editing and proofreading abilities to ensure high-quality materials before publication.
