Job Summary: This new role is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of Morphe. The Marketing Director is a senior, hands-on leader who will sit at the heart of a growing marketing department.

This is a truly 50/50 role, you’ll be as comfortable developing strategy as getting into the detail of execution. You'll own the GTM process, lead and develop our Social and Influencer teams, and be the driving force behind our retail marketing partnerships with key accounts including Ulta Beauty and Target. You'll bring ideas to life, build seasonal plans with retail partners, manage co-op budgets, and work across teams to ensure every launch lands brilliantly.

This role is for a senior marketer who hits the ground running, someone with deep beauty retail experience, a genuine passion for brand building, and the drive to help shape how the world sees Morphe.

Principle Accountabilities:

Go To Market

  • Own the end-to-end GTM execution for North America - from building into launch plans and defining market specific timelines through to post-launch performance tracking and optimization alongside the marketing team and in strong partnership with the EU Marketing Director.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across local Commercial, Operations and Marketing teams to ensure seamless, on-time execution
  • Develop retailer-specific plans for key accounts, ensuring Morphe launches with impact at Ulta Beauty, Target and beyond
  • Build and maintain a robust marketing calendar, connecting brand moments, retail calendars and innovation launches

Act as the connective tissue between global strategy and North America execution - translating brand direction into locally relevant, commercially driven plans.

Social Media

  • Lead, manage and develop the Social Media Manager and their team to build and execute best-in-class social media marketing.
  • Co-develop the social strategy collaboratively with the Social team, VP of Marketing, and with input from Marketing Ops and Growth
  • Champion a bold, culturally relevant and on-brand social presence across all key global platforms with an aligned focus on social platform trend and growth.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, creator culture and emerging formats to keep Morphe at the forefront of the conversation.

Influencer Relations

  • Lead, manage and develop the Sr. Manager, Influencer Marketing and their team
  • Co-develop the influencer strategy alongside the Influencer team, VP of Marketing, and Marketing Ops and Growth
  • Build and maintain a diverse, engaged network of brand advocates, creators and talent across the NA market
  • Drive brand heat, earned reach and community growth through best-in-class influencer programming & eventing.
  • Own and develop PR strategy and execution in North America, alongside the influencer marketing team.

Trade & Retail Marketing – North America

  • Directly own and execute the Trade Marketing responsibilities for North America, acting as the primary marketing contact for key retail partners
  • Serve as the day-to-day marketing lead across North America Accounts, with direct experience of Ulta and Target strongly preferred
  • Build seasonal retailer marketing plans into the marketing calendar that align brand priorities with retailer windows and commercial objectives
  • Present and pitch marketing ideas and activation plans directly to retail partner teams, building strong collaborative relationships
  • Manage retailer co-op marketing budgets alongside commercial peers, ensuring investment is strategically allocated and delivers measurable growth
  • Work alongside the Commercial team to develop compelling co-op marketing plans that drive sell-through and brand visibility
  • Partner with retail media agencies to develop and execute robust paid media plans within key retail environments
  • Proactively identify value-add marketing opportunities within retail partners to unlock incremental growth

Digital Marketing

  • Support the VP of Marketing & VP of eCommerce on localized digital marketing initiatives including paid social, email and ecommerce
  • Help ensure a joined-up consumer journey across owned, earned and paid channels
  • Bring a data-informed approach, contributing to performance analysis and ongoing optimization

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, coach and develop high-performing teams with a strong, customer-centric and results-driven culture
  • Identify capability gaps and invest in learning, development and succession
  • Act as a senior marketing expert and trusted partner to regional and global stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to drive engagement, performance and company values across the region

The salary range reflected here is for positions based in the Greater Los Angeles area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Requirements:

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in the beauty industry is essential
  • Proven track record working with major North America beauty retailers — direct Ulta Beauty and/or Target experience strongly preferred
  • A senior, well-rounded marketeer with broad expertise across social, influencer, trade marketing and digital
  • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end GTM processes, from planning through to post-launch analysis
  • Experience managing co-op budgets and building retail marketing plans alongside commercial teams
  • Experience working with retail media agencies on paid media strategies within retail environments
  • Equally strong in strategy and execution, able to develop a sharp plan & roll up their sleeves to deliver it
