About the job

We’re seeking a Brand Manager to serve as the dedicated brand lead for Chispa on the Affinity team at Match Group. This role focuses on the US Hispanic community and carries meaningful ownership of the brand’s strategy and growth.

The ideal candidate is a passionate, creative, and strategic marketer who lives and breathes multicultural marketing and deeply understands the US Hispanic, bicultural community. In this fast-paced, high-impact role, you will shape and drive the brand strategy for a growing app, leading initiatives that build cultural relevance, brand equity, and user growth.

Affinity is a division of Match Group that is home to online dating apps like BLK, Chispa, and Upward where singles can connect based on what they have in common. Creating a sense of belonging doesn’t stop at our products - it’s the foundation of every team we hire.

When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life (IRL). We think the same is true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL in our Dallas office 3 days/week.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Lead integrated marketing programs across product launches, PR, promotions, influencer marketing, and community campaigns to build brand awareness and drive app registrations
  • Act as the voice of the customer, representing and advocating for the needs of the Latino community, especially Gen Z Latinos. You will connect with and advocate for the bicultural consumer and need a deep understanding of bicultural audiences.
  • Translate strategic insights, knowledge, and trends about the Latino community and dating preferences into actionable brand initiatives
  • Help make Chispa a most-loved brand by getting Chispa into Latino culture, through partnerships, social, experiential, influencer campaigns, and more
  • Support development of brand KPIs, assess campaign performance, and identify new community-relevant opportunities and partnerships to accelerate growth
  • Partner closely with Product to shape product marketing strategy and ensure seamless integration of features into the brand narrative
  • Manage agencies (creative, social, PR, influencer) and external partners from ideation to campaign execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, media, performance marketing, product, technology, PR) to ensure cohesive brand execution
  • Own social media strategy, including channel and content strategy and brand voice, to drive cultural relevance, engagement, and downloads
  • Lead influencer marketing strategy and execution, building scalable and culturally authentic creator programs
  • In close partnership with the Sr Director, Affinity, drive the Chispa brand strategy, serving as the dedicated brand steward and primary point of accountability for how the brand shows up across all consumer touchpoints
  • Operate with autonomy while partnering closely with the Sr. Director of Affinity Brand Marketing, bringing strategic thinking and strong execution to elevate Chispa within the Affinity portfolio

We could be a match if you have:

  • 6+ years of marketing and brand strategy experience, preferably within consumer mobile apps, digital platforms, or high-growth consumer startups (agency experience is a plus)
  • Experience owning or leading brand campaigns that reach bicultural audiences
  • Deep passion for, understanding of, and immersion in the US Latino community; bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Proven experience leading integrated campaigns and influencer marketing programs from strategy through execution
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with experience managing agency partners and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
  • A balance of creative storytelling and analytical rigor, with comfort interpreting performance metrics and optimizing accordingly
  • An entrepreneurial mindset — self-starter, scrappy, resourceful, and comfortable operating as the primary brand lead
  • Ability to build relationships and community connections, especially within the Latino market
  • Ideally, creative skills and familiarity with Canva or other creative tools

The salary range for this position is $105,000 - 130,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
