Position Overview

The Brand Marketing Director will lead the overall brand marketing strategy, ensuring the brand’s voice, visual identity, and storytelling remain consistent across all consumer touchpoints. This role will oversee brand campaigns, product launches, collaborations, influencer partnerships, and cultural activations that position the brand at the center of streetwear culture.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with a strong understanding of youth culture, fashion, digital marketing, and community-driven brand building.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop and execute the overall brand marketing strategy to grow awareness, cultural relevance, and customer loyalty.
  • Define and maintain the brand’s voice, visual identity, and storytelling framework across channels.
  • Lead seasonal brand narratives aligned with product launches and cultural moments.

Campaigns & Product Launches

  • Plan and execute 360° marketing campaigns across digital, social, retail, and experiential channels.
  • Partner with creative, merchandising, and product teams to support seasonal drops, capsule collections, and collaborations.
  • Manage campaign timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.

Cultural Marketing & Partnerships

  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with artists, influencers, athletes, and cultural tastemakers.
  • Lead brand collaborations that drive cultural relevance and brand buzz.
  • Build authentic relationships with communities connected to music, skate, street art, and youth culture.

Digital & Social Marketing

  • Oversee the brand’s social media strategy, influencer programs, and digital storytelling.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand identity and engages target audiences.
  • Analyze performance metrics to optimize campaigns and growth.

Events & Community Engagement

  • Lead experiential marketing initiatives, including pop-ups, brand events, and cultural activations.
  • Develop community-focused initiatives that strengthen brand loyalty.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the brand marketing team, including brand managers, social media managers, and content creators.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, ecommerce, product, retail, and PR teams.

Performance & Analytics

  • Track and analyze campaign performance across channels.
  • Use data and insights to refine brand marketing strategies and improve ROI.

Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years of marketing experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in streetwear, fashion, apparel, or lifestyle brands strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of building impactful brand campaigns and cultural marketing initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of streetwear culture, music, art, and youth trends.
  • Strong experience with digital marketing, influencer marketing, and social platforms.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with limited drops, hype marketing, or collaboration-driven product launches.
  • Established network within fashion, music, sports, or creator communities.
  • Experience working with global or fast-growing DTC brands.

The pay range for this role is:

130,000 - 150,000 USD per year(Culture Kings USA Inc.)
