MRM Health is looking for a Social Strategist who lives and breathes social media and content strategy because nowadays all content is social. We want someone excited by the fact that checking their feed is integral to their job. If you have healthcare experience, even better! Here, we marry the two.

Our ideal candidate has created strategies for patients and physicians within public social networks and extended ecosystems as well as platforms like Sermo, Doximity and Skipta. In This Role, You Will Primarily Focus On

  • Social strategy, content and channel planning for brands on owned properties (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube, Reddit, Twitter/X, Sermo, Doximity, and Skipta etc.)
  • Approach for the right creator/influencer identification and activation
  • Core principles of community management and monitoring
  • Giving people the opportunity to live a more fulfilling life by improving health and health conversations
  • Evaluating content and experience to develop sound content strategy across social and other channels
  • A focus on social performance and KPIs in context of overall business goals
  • Brings innovative tactics to connect users to the brand
  • Accelerating the success of the social strategy through collaboration with the client and MRM colleagues
  • Use of health/pharma experience and understanding of regulatory environment within social to conduct social audits, listening exercises, competitive analysis, and opportunity identification (preferred)
  • Define KPIs and implement measurement, analytics and reporting methods to gauge success
  • Communicate platform updates and general consumer social trends
  • Find creative ways to bring healthcare and consumer social trends together
  • Key tasks:
  • Education of internal and external stakeholders on healthcare-related consumer behavior within social
  • Write briefs and collaborate with creative team to help concept social content
  • Be a social media subject matter expert and guide how best practices can work within Healthcare, Pharma, Biotech and Medical Devices
  • Client-facing thought leadership
  • Calendaring organic and paid activations
  • Basic management and monitoring of member activity 1 Facebook group
  • Competitive landscape audits that assess relevant brand conversations, gap analysis, and content areas of opportunity
  • Building social listening reports using tools like Brandwatch and Pulsar to mine social media
  • Reporting and collaboration on social intelligence and social listening data
  • Collaboration with creative to build breakthrough campaign work that accelerates social performance
  • Insight development and future planning

What We Are Looking For

  • 2 years of social experience, actively developing social strategy, managing social accounts, and/or building paid social media plans
  • Hands-on experience with Meta Business Manager, Reddit Business Manager, or similar business managers
  • Familiarity with functionalities and features on common social platforms
  • Some experience with Healthcare or Pharma clients (preferred). Experience in other regulated verticals also is welcome
  • Excellent communication skills within the spoken and written word
  • Savvy presenter that can read a room and keep them engaged
  • Deadline and results driven
  • Proactiveness and prioritization skills to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Comfortable advocating on behalf of yourself, your team and your client
  • Ability to manage client initiatives and campaigns
  • Ability to manage and oversee of campaign reporting
  • Integration with horizontal teams (Account, Creative, Performance, Media, Tech)
  • Ability to make strategic recommendations, draft presentation decks, assist in new business presentations
