We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Manager, Digital Engagement to lead integrated digital programs across life sciences accounts. This role blends strong paid media expertise with thoughtful oversight of organic social and broader digital strategy.
The Manager will drive performance-focused paid media campaigns while ensuring alignment across organic, content, influencer, and analytics initiatives. This individual should be comfortable owning campaign strategy, guiding optimization, leading client conversations, and mentoring junior team members while understanding how each digital channel fits within a larger communications ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Digital & Paid Media Strategy
- Lead development and execution of integrated digital strategies across paid and organic channels
- Own paid media planning across LinkedIn, Meta, X, search, and programmatic platforms
- Manage budgets, forecasting, pacing, and optimization to drive measurable results
- Translate campaign data into strategic insights and clear recommendations
- Ensure paid media strategy aligns with overall communications objectives and brand positioning
- Stay current on platform updates, targeting capabilities, and healthcare advertising considerations
Organic Social Strategy
- Oversee organic social strategy to ensure alignment with paid efforts and audience segmentation
- Guide content planning, community management, and channel best practices
- Lead social listening initiatives and influencer identification efforts
- Develop persona research and audience behavior insights to inform channel strategy
- Ensure reporting across paid and organic channels is cohesive and actionable
Client & Team Leadership
- Serve as the digital lead for assigned clients, managing day-to-day communications
- Present strategic recommendations and performance updates to clients and senior stakeholders
- Mentor Associates and review deliverables to elevate quality and strategic thinking
- Collaborate cross-functionally with account, creative, and analytics teams
- Contribute to new business strategy and digital proposals as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- 4–6+ years of digital marketing experience within life sciences, biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries
- Strong hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns across social and search platforms
- Working knowledge of organic social strategy and community management
- Experience managing digital budgets and analyzing performance data
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics and platform reporting dashboards
- Experience with social listening and publishing tools (e.g., Netbase, Brandwatch, Sprout, Meltwater)
- Strong client-facing presence and presentation skills
- Excellent project management and written communication skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
