Job Summary

A Wider Circle is seeking a hard-working, creative, and detail-oriented part-time Senior Coordinator, Social Media, to play a critical role in developing and executing our social media strategy. This remote position will be approximately 25 hours per week and will require ocassional in-office attendance for meetings and events.

The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative - someone who understands how to build a strong brand voice, spot trends early, and translate insights into engaging, high-performing content. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, content creation, and data analysis to expand our reach and deepen community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive platform-specific social media strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Manage daily posting, engagement, and community management across platforms
• Create original content and collaborate on photography and video assets
• Track trends, audio, formats, and platform updates and apply them strategically
• Conduct trend and competitor research to inform content direction
• Analyze performance metrics and prepare regular reports
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations based on analytics
• Maintain organized content calendars and publishing schedules
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to align messaging and campaigns

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in social media marketing
• Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands or organizations
• Strong understanding of social media trends, engagement strategies, and analytics
• Experience with performance analytics, reporting, and KPI tracking
• Creative, innovative thinker with strong ideation skills
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Familiarity with paid social advertising or influencer marketing
