About our Account Director – Strategy position:

The Account Director – Strategy serves as a champion for the customer’s business success, managing the end-to-end planning and execution of creative and strategic brand opportunities. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and can contribute effective ideas on relationship building, brand management, marketing, communications planning, and social media strategy.

The Account Director – Strategy must be able to effectively identify potential opportunities and challenges facing a client’s business by researching data, consumer insights, competitive analysis, and cultural insights. The Account Director – Strategy will serve as a passionate and persuasive influencer and expert for the client, contributing relevant ideas and continually driving positive results.

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field is required, an advanced degree is welcome
  • 4 or more years of relevant experience working in a client management role, agency experience is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the marketing mix and strategic brand management principles
  • Strong problem-solving and research skills
  • Ability to deliver visual presentations to communicate ideas, data, and proposals
  • Ability to dissect data to determine strategic opportunities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Ability to work collaboratively with partners, clients, and teams across multiple disciplines
