💼  The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to own the entire marketing engine across social, influencer, lifecycle, brand, PR and performance.

The annual salary range for this role is $150,000 - $250,000. The final salary will be based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.

🧰 Responsibilities

Holistic Strategy & Brand Leadership

  • Own the Narrative: Develop SwingVision’s brand positioning, voice, and messaging strategy to resonate with amateur and pro athletes alike.
  • PR & Communications: Lead PR efforts to secure tier-1 media placement and manage brand reputation.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor internal team members (Influencer & Lifecycle leads) and hold external agencies (Performance & Content) accountable to strict KPIs and creative standards.

Acquisition & Performance

  • Full-Funnel Execution: Orchestrate integrated campaigns across social, organic, and paid channels to lower CAC while scaling spend.
  • Influencer & Social Strategy: Scale our influencer program and social presence, ensuring our content strategy on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube aligns with acquisition goals.
  • Creative Direction: Act as the final quality gate for creative assets, ensuring all output—from ad creatives to lifecycle emails—is on-brand and high-converting.

Retention & Monetization

  • Lifecycle Marketing: Work with the Lifecycle lead to optimize the customer journey from onboarding to renewal, focusing on increasing trial conversion and LTV.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze marketing data (via Amplitude/Google Analytics) to uncover friction points in the funnel and propose product/marketing experiments.

🎯 Requirements

  • 5+ Years in Consumer Subscription (B2C Mobile/SaaS): You have a proven track record of driving subscription revenue and user growth.
  • The "Player-Coach" Mentality: You are strategic enough to present to the Board but scrappy enough to write copy, set up a campaign, or edit a deck when needed.
  • Multi-Channel Fluency: Deep understanding of the modern marketing mix: Paid Social (Meta/TikTok), Influencer Marketing, Lifecycle/CRM, and SEO.
  • Agency Management: Experience managing external agencies or contractors and getting the best work out of them.
  • Strong Storyteller: Exceptional copywriting and communication skills — you know how to sell a vision, not just a feature.
  • Product Passion: Avid user of SwingVision

⭐️ Preferred

  • Startup DNA: Experience working in a Series A or similar high-growth environment (team size <50).
  • Analytical Stack: Proficiency with Amplitude, RevenueCat, and visualization tools.
  • Visual Eye: Ability to provide strong creative direction to video editors and designers.
