We’re looking for a creative, organized Social Media Coordinator to help tell our story, grow our audience, and turn our daily operations and events into compelling digital content.

Position Overview:
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for planning, creating, and managing content across Roast Coffee Company’s social media platforms. This role captures the daily energy of the café, highlights events, promotes partnerships, and builds a loyal online following.
You will work closely with the owner and event team to turn real moments into engaging digital content that grows the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation
- Capture photo and video content in the café and at events
- Produce short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Create graphics, captions, and stories
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic
Social Media Management
- Manage company accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
- Schedule and publish posts using content calendars
- Respond to comments and messages
- Monitor brand mentions and customer interactions
Event & Brand Promotion
- Document major events and activations
- Promote upcoming events and partnerships
- Coordinate content with event baristas and partners
- Capture behind-the-scenes content
Growth & Analytics
- Track engagement, reach, and follower growth
- Identify trends and opportunities
- Recommend improvements to content strategy
- Report monthly performance metrics
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 1–3 years social media or content creation experience
- Strong photography and mobile video skills
- Experience with short-form video editing (Reels/TikTok)
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, CapCut / Premiere / Final Cut, Later, Buffer, or Hootsuite
- Excellent writing and storytelling ability
- Comfortable interacting with staff and customers while filming
- Passion for coffee, food, events, or hospitality brands
Bonus:
- Experience with event coverage
- Graphic design skills
- Influencer marketing experience
Work Schedule:
Flexible, but includes:
- Some mornings at the café
- Some evenings or weekends for events
- Combination of onsite and remote work
Compensation:
This is a Part Time position, 10–15 hours per week, with additional hours when growth and performance metrics are achieved. $18-24/hour
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
