Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our team in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area. This is a dynamic, in-office role designed for a results-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for the beauty industry. You will be responsible for cultivating new business opportunities, strengthening existing relationships, and positioning Sigma Beauty as the go-to brand for innovative, high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Partnerships: Identify and establish partnerships with key retailers, distributors, and influencers to expand Sigma Beauty’s market presence domestically and internationally.

• Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales and increase market share across multiple channels.

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty while uncovering opportunities for growth.

• Market Analysis: Conduct research to identify trends, assess competition, and provide actionable insights to leadership.

• Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product development, and operations to align strategies and optimize product offerings.

• Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations and finalize agreements that deliver revenue growth and strengthen brand visibility.

• Performance Metrics: Track and report on sales performance and market trends, making adjustments to exceed targets.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

● 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on affiliate marketing

and influencer partnerships (beauty or consumer goods industry preferred).

● Proven experience with Shopify Collabs is strongly preferred.

● Proficiency in affiliate marketing platforms (e.g., ShareASale, Rakuten), social media

platforms, and analytics tools.

● Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

● Creative and adaptable, with the ability to stay ahead of industry trends.

● Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Proven success in business development or sales, preferably in the beauty or consumer goods industry.

• Strong knowledge of the beauty market, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.

• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and results-oriented.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1+ year of sales or business development experience preferred.
