About The Role You’ll lead PR, earned media, influencer, and social communications for a high-visibility, mass beauty brand sold across major retailers and online. Reporting into Brand Marketing leadership, you’ll drive integrated communication strategies that connect PR, social, creators, paid media, and experiential into cohesive, high-impact campaigns.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the brand communications strategy across PR, earned media, influencer, and social – from planning through execution and optimization.
  • Develop 360° launch and always-on campaigns that tie together earned, owned, and paid channels to drive awareness, engagement, and brand love.
  • Create compelling stories, messaging, and press / social materials that keep the brand culturally relevant and newsworthy.
  • Lead influencer and creator strategy – from seeding and relationship building to paid programs that unlock scalable earned support.
  • Manage external PR and influencer agencies, including scopes, performance, and best practices.
  • Partner closely with brand marketing, eCommerce, creative, and sales to ensure integrated, consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Oversee communications calendars, budgets, and KPIs; ensure campaigns are delivered on time and on target.
  • Monitor cultural trends, social behavior, and competitor activity to inform fresh, disruptive ideas.
  • Act as a key point of contact in issues/crisis communication, helping protect and strengthen brand reputation.
  • Lead analytics and reporting for PR, influencer, and social, translating performance into clear insights and next steps.

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in PR, brand communications, or integrated marketing, ideally with consumer brands.
  • Hands-on experience with influencer programs and social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), including outreach and campaign execution.
  • A track record of developing and executing successful PR or brand campaigns at the local and/or national level.
  • Strong storytelling skills – you know how to turn product and brand benefits into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Comfort presenting to senior stakeholders and collaborating across marketing, creative, digital, and sales teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience tracking KPIs, reading performance dashboards, and recommending optimizations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and partners with a sense of urgency and ownership.
  • Attention to detail, strong writing skills, and a passion for staying on top of beauty, social, and cultural trends.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
