- As the Employee Communications Manager you will play an essential role in shaping the employee experience and infusing internal channels with the information our global teams depend on to align with key business objectives and do their best work.
- You will work with an embedded agency team to build advocacy internally and leverage employee influencers to achieve organic reach in key markets. As an architect of integrated communications and experience campaigns, you will build strong relationships with key skill teams and SMEs to bring the company strategy and products to life for our global workforce.
Responsibilities What you'll do...
- Lead the creation and management of targeted, cross-functional employee communications campaigns across internal channels including intranet, mobile app and live engagement to deliver relevant and timely information
- Engage with the implementation of a new suite of communications technology tools[CB1]
- Work with the Internal Editorial and Content teams to create employee communications content that complements and augments external announcements and leverages our global workforce as a channel, in addition to a key audience
- Assist the Employee Engagement Communications Manager in the implementation and management of an integrated employee communications channel strategy and editorial process
- Manage embedded agency team members to create memorable activation moments and grow an established employee influencer program
- Be the eyes, ears and voice of the employee to lead the development of impactful and inspiring content and storytelling to drive engagement to build pride and confidence
Qualifications You'll have...
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, PR, Communications or related field
- Five years minimum experience in communications, media relations or journalism
- Two or more years’ experience managing a team or agency partners
- Deep knowledge and understanding of internal/employee and / or HR communications
- Ability to prioritize and deliver timely, high-quality results to completion
- Proven collaborative abilities and teamwork across cross-functional teams, and ability to build consensus and deliver collective results
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal), and interface clearly and expertly with leaders
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a solution-oriented mindset
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ongoing awareness of local or regional events and media environment
- Professional and interpersonal maturity with a proven track record of successful relationship building

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $112,680-212,760.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
