Social Media and Marketing Intern

About the Role
Brainiac Beauty Events is looking for a creative, social media–savvy intern who loves content creation, beauty, and events. If you're always thinking of Reel or TikTok ideas, enjoy capturing aesthetic moments, and want real hands-on experience growing a beauty brand, this internship is for you.

As a content creator, you’ll help create and promote content for our popular Makeup Tutorial Parties that bring everyday women together for fun, glam, and empowerment!

What You’ll Do

• Create and schedule content for TikTok and Instagram
• Film and edit short-form videos (Reels/TikTok) for event promotion and fun engagement
• Design simple graphics using Canva
• Capture behind-the-scenes content at events when applicable
• Research social media trends and help brainstorm viral content ideas
• Engage with our community through comments, messages, and posts
• Research and manage influencer partnerships

Who You Are

• Active on Instagram and TikTok and understand current trends
• Comfortable filming and editing short-form video content
• Familiar with Canva or basic design tools
• Creative, organized, and proactive
• Interested in beauty, events and digital marketing
• Friendly, approachable, emotionally mature

Hours

4-5 hrs/ week

90% remote

10% in-person (Catonsville, MD) (Weekends)

Duration of the internship is negotiable (minimum 8 weeks)
