POSITION SUMMARY:
The Social Media Strategist owns the company’s organic and paid social strategy and execution across priority channels. This role plans content, grows audiences, manages influencers/creators, runs paid social campaigns within an established budget, and produces platform-native graphics and short-form video. The Strategist tracks performance, reports insights, and continuously tests new channels and formats to improve reach, engagement, and pipeline impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own social strategy, channel roadmap, and content pillars aligned to brand and business goals.
- Manage day-to-day publishing, community management, and channel governance.
- Develop monthly/quarterly content calendars; write briefs and scripts as needed.
- Create social-first assets (graphics, carousels, short-form video, basic motion) optimized per platform.
- Manage influencer/creator programs: sourcing, outreach, contracts/briefs, approvals, and performance tracking.
- Plan and execute paid social campaigns (targeting, creative variants, testing, optimization) within a predetermined budget.
- Explore and pilot new channels/placements; recommend where to invest based on results.
- Own social reporting: dashboards, weekly/monthly performance recaps, insights, and recommendations.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Design to ensure messaging accuracy and brand consistency.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position will not have any supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 5+ years in social media (strategy + hands-on execution); B2B experience a plus.
- Proven experience running paid social and reporting on performance (CTR, CPC, CPL, ROAS where applicable).
- Strong content creation skills (copy, creative direction, platform-native video/graphics).
- Experience managing influencers/creators and content approvals.
- Proficiency with common creative and scheduling tools (e.g., Adobe/Figma/Canva; native platform tools).
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder alignment skills.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Familiarity with video editing tools (Premiere Pro or similar).
- Experience in fleet, automotive, SaaS, or technical products.
- Consistent, on-brand creative delivered on time across channels.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This is largely a sedentary role; however, some standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching may be required.
- Basic motor skills and manual dexterity for extensive computer usage are required.
- Sitting for extended periods of time is required.
- Talking, hearing and close vision abilities are required.
- Stress may occur with changing priorities, tight deadlines and long hours.
- Ability to occasionally lift 20 pounds.

Approximately 5%
