Public Relations & Marketing Specialist

Guy & Associates is seeking a dynamic PR and Marketing professional to elevate our brand presence and drive strategic communication for our business management firm.

Guy & Associates supports small businesses, tax professionals, accounting firms, and fractional CFOs with virtual assistance, business management, and marketing services.

Key Responsibilities

Public Relations:

• Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance brand visibility
• Build relationships with media contacts, journalists, and influencers
• Write press releases, media pitches, and secure media coverage
• Coordinate speaking opportunities and podcast appearances
• Monitor media coverage and manage brand reputation

Marketing:

• Create and implement integrated marketing campaigns
• Manage social media strategy across multiple platforms
• Develop content for blogs, email newsletters, and website
• Create marketing collateral (one-pagers, case studies, sales materials)
• Track marketing metrics and campaign performance

Content Creation:

• Write engaging content for target audience
• Develop thought leadership content and client success stories
• Produce marketing copy for various channels

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in PR, marketing, or communications
• Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media placements
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong media relations and networking abilities
• Proficiency in social media platforms and marketing tools
• Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in PR, Marketing, or Communications
• Experience in B2B professional services marketing
• Existing media relationships
• Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Familiarity with PR and marketing analytics tools
