Social Media Manager

Wayback Burgers is seeking a creative and results driven Social Media Manager to lead our social media presence and bring the Wayback Burgers brand to life across digital platforms.

This role is responsible for planning, creating, and executing social media content that drives engagement, brand awareness, and restaurant traffic across our national franchise system.

The ideal candidate is both a creative storyteller and a strategic thinker who understands how to translate social content into real business results.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the social media content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging platforms
• Create and publish engaging content including photos, short form video, and brand storytelling
• Partner with the marketing team to promote product launches, limited time offers, and brand campaigns
• Monitor and respond to guest engagement across social channels
• Analyze social performance and provide insights to improve reach, engagement, and conversions
• Collaborate with appropriate teams to support local marketing initiatives and social best practices
• Identify influencer partnerships and user generated content opportunities
• Stay ahead of social media trends, food culture, and platform updates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or media platform
• Strong content creation skills including photography and short form video
• Experience using social scheduling and analytics platforms
• Excellent writing and storytelling ability
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once
