AAMBC Inc. stands as a leading network organization for black literary creatives, renowned for producing the largest and only entertainment award show celebrating African Americans in literary arts, publishing, and film.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Strategist to join our team remotely. As a key member, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing effective social media strategies for both AAMBC Inc. and our subsidiary company, Delphine Legacy Media. This role involves collaboration with the Social Media and Marketing department, Sales team, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Background in one or more of the following fields: Advertising, Public Relations, Communications, Social Media Management, Journalism, Digital Media, Writing, Business, or Marketing (Preferred, not required).
• Creativity, a willingness to learn, and a solid understanding of social media and trends.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Strategic Social Media Plan:

• Formulate and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to expand the organization’s online presence, targeting specific audiences.

Strengthen Brand Presence:

• Enhance the organization's brand identity and foster community engagement through the creation of compelling and creative content.

Cause Marketing and Influencer Partnerships:

• Develop strategies and secure cause marketing and influencer partnerships to elevate the organization's social impact.

Content Management:

• Oversee and manage social media content creation, ensuring consistency with the established brand voice and strategy.

Campaign Analysis:

• Measure the success of each social media campaign, utilizing data and analytics to refine future strategies.

SEO Tracking and Analysis:

• Track and analyze SEO performance, providing effective solutions for content optimization to maximize reach and impact.

This internship is unpaid, but we are looking to hire the right candidate directly after completion.
