In 2023, The Escape Game introduced something entirely new: Great Big Game Show.
Great Big Game Show is an immersive, live-hosted experience where guests become contestants, competing in fast-paced mini-games on a soundstage inspired by their favorite TV game shows.

Great Big Game Show is expanding rapidly across the United States, with 18 new locations opening in 2026.
Description
The Marketing Director for Great Big Game Show is responsible for driving revenue growth across our locations by increasing awareness, bookings, and large group leads.
You will develop strategies to build local awareness, increase large group leads and bookings, and position Great Big Game Show as a premier experiential concept and group activity in each of our markets. You will need to master the nuances of different regions, leverage seasonality, and craft campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.
This role requires someone who can juggle priorities, manage budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure every location meets and exceeds performance targets.
The ideal candidate understands how to make an experience discoverable, shareable, and culturally relevant online. Expertise in paid social, influencers, and organic social content is crucial to this role.
As Marketing Director, you will also build and lead a small but powerful marketing team, focused on growing their skills and maximizing their potential.
Responsibilities
Social & Online Discovery Leadership
Own and evolve the strategy that drives awareness and bookings online. This includes paid social campaigns, influencer partnerships, organic social content, and other digital channels that help Great Big Game Show reach new audiences and stay culturally relevant.
Strategy Lead
Develop tailored strategies to attract core customer segments including locals, tourists, corporate groups, and more, while adapting approaches to the unique needs of each market.
Launch Planning
Design and execute launch plans that generate buzz, capture local attention, secure press coverage, and build momentum for new store openings.
Team Leadership & Development
Build and lead a high-performing marketing team. Mentor and develop team members while helping them grow their skills and maximize their potential.
Budget & Resource Management
Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources efficiently to maximize store-level impact.
Local Partnerships
Build relationships with local businesses, chambers, landlords, and tourism boards to create cross-promotional opportunities that drive awareness and store visits.
Campaign & Promotion Management
Oversee the campaign calendar to ensure strong execution of promotions that support store performance and competitive positioning.
In-Store Marketing
Develop strategies for window displays, signage, and other materials that encourage walk-in bookings and upsells.
Market Insights & Competitor Analysis
Stay on top of industry and local trends while monitoring competitor activity to refine strategies and maintain strong market positioning.
