Job Summary Statement:

The Public Relations Manager will lead corporate communications, media strategy, and reputation management for Waaree Solar Americas across the U.S., Canada, and key LATAM markets. This role shapes the company’s public narrative, strengthens brand credibility, and drives high-impact media visibility aligned with business growth and policy priorities. The incumbent serves as the primary steward of external communications and executive positioning.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes an integrated Public Relations strategy aligned to business and policy objectives.
  • Establishes measurable KPIs (share of voice, sentiment, media quality, executive visibility) and evaluates PR and marketing performance using data-driven insights.
  • Leads crisis communications planning and proactive reputation management.
  • Builds and manages relationships with national, business, and renewable energy media.
  • Secures Tier-1 coverage and elevate brand positioning in key markets.
  • Collaborates on integrated campaigns and content strategy (web, social, email, video) that supports marketing and media goals and audience growth to ensure cohesive, impactful campaigns.
  • Leads creation of event marketing strategies and timelines for local implementation including content creation, event publicity, marketing tools and website updates.
  • Engages industry analysts, influencers, and sustainability platforms.
  • Partners with senior leadership to craft external messaging and thought leadership.
  • Drives executive visibility through op-eds, interviews, and speaking platforms.
  • Prepares media briefs, messaging frameworks, and presentation materials.
  • Oversees press releases, bylines, case studies, and major announcements.
  • Leads PR strategy for trade shows, summits, and corporate milestones.
  • Tracks performance, benchmarks competitors, and provides quarterly insights.
  • Aligns closely with marketing, business teams, and internal communications.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
  • Seven (7) years in Public Relations, with 3 years in leadership roles.
  • Experience in energy, renewables, technology, or manufacturing sectors preferred
  • Proven national media engagement and crisis communications experience.
  • Strategic mindset and strong storytelling ability.
  • Established media network across energy and business press.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and sound judgment under pressure.
