Alaska Gear Company is continuing to grow our team of driven outdoor professionals. We are seeking an organized and proactive Marketing and Social Media Coordinator to support the execution of our marketing initiatives across digital channels, events, partnerships, and brand campaigns.

This role helps keep our marketing engine running. From coordinating social media collaborations and supporting campaign planning to tracking projects and managing marketing materials, you will play a key role in helping our marketing team bring ideas to life.

Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing Engagements Manager, you’ll help ensure campaigns, partnerships, and events run smoothly while supporting the systems and processes that keep our marketing operations organized and effective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Monday boards and track marketing projects, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Assist with campaign planning, creative briefs, and customer persona development.
  • Support influencer collaborations, affiliate programs, product seeding, and brand partnerships.
  • Assist in executing events under the direction of the Marketing Engagements Manager.
  • Manage marketing inventory including Flyntlok and physical promotional materials.
  • Process marketing bills, invoices, and expense tracking.
  • Support contract administration and event permit requests.
  • Source, print, and distribute marketing materials and promotional assets.
  • Maintain digital listings and marketing platforms such as Google Business Profiles.
  • Assist with paid media reporting, campaign tracking, and marketing performance metrics.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 13 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or social media role.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, CMS (Content Management Systems), CRM tools, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally with marketing, product, and operations teams.
